Well, at least we can say that the game isn't scheduled for release anywhere until spring of next year, which means these screens are probably far from final. When last we checked in on the follow-up to the 'Cube's Tales of Symphonia, things were looking pretty nice. These latest battle screens, however ... let's just say they're looking a little geometric. Still, with months yet to go, we can only hope for a sharper, crisper take on the first game's action. After all, there's an entire extra GameCube taped on there!

That is quite a good job so far. I bet the PSP can simulate these screens with no problem at all.

Giant enemy turtles are twice as next-gen as giant enemy crabs! I am enthused about a sequel to a game I just picked up finally after longing for it after the first article in Nintendo Power about it.

The game press totally over-rated Tales for the cube. They wanted to act like we had anything close to final fantasy.
I believed it and bought Tales of Symphonia. What a kiddie
game. It felt SO cheap and junior high compared to FF. I felt really suckered. So i want to warn anyone else from making the same mistake.
If your over twenty, I'm 26, this game will just annoy you.
Ryan.

-"Ratatoskr" must be Greek for "Fail"
-I hope these are the NDS screens
-I never knew graphics on cell phones looked this good
...and so on, plenty of funny lines about this one. Let's hope it develops into something decent, and not just another failed attempt to bring in a quick buck on the Wii.
Graphics aren't everything, but this just looks like a half-@$$ed project with a franchise name to try and bring in money. *cough*FARCRY*cough*

sorry for the double post.
ToS was a really fun game, even if Lloyd was just a kid (he was). It was pretty fun coop and the story was fun, albeit a bit cliche and admittedly much improved if you first enjoyed ToP.
Every protagonist can't be Snake Plissken

Tales of Symphonia was a great game, I didnt think it was kiddish! But regardless they should have kept these screens under wraps and not shown us.

As long as it's as good as Tales of Symphonia, I don't have a problem with it. It'd be really nice if they upped the graphics by a lot, but really, I'm in it for the gameplay and story.
D: I played ToS to death. But everyone's allowed their opinion.

The backgrounds look nice, but I'm going to miss the cel-shaded characters, the new character style looks crap compared to ToS.
