Considering the Doctor Who game just started developing and they are planning for a holiday release, I have almost no faith in the BBC in the videogaming department.

The dramas, however, are awesome.

BBC are awesome, but the BBC Micro and this news? Nah. They'll never hit the gaming market as well as they're hoping. I wish them luck.

Jekyll, Doctor Who, Have I got News for you and Casualty (yea, shhh) are the only TV shows I watch these days.

Casualty - The Game. Starring Charlie Fairhead.

If the games are as repetitive and boring as the BBC Breakfast show then I am definately out.

No matter how you slice it, it's pretty cool that the BBC will be stirring the industry competition pot.

They're already doing casual games that tie into their TV programmes. More of the same doesn't sound like a "major move" to me.

I sure hope it's a Doctor Who game. So I can FINALLY stop thinking BBC is throwing away their golden oppertunity to completely whore the Doctor Who franchise for all it's worth.

There are a few Doctor Who video games. I bought this one when I was in the UK about 10 years ago.http://www.amazon.co.uk/BBC-Multimedia-Doctor-Who-Destiny/dp/B00004VXN7

Does this mean we have to pay £150 a year for owning a console now?

How about a game based on Look Around You? Should be easy enough...

Write that down in your copybook now.
