Um, what flashing red light? I've had Macs for five years now and I've never even heard of a flashing red light - even when it crashed that one time a couple years ago.

And the reason why you buy a Mac for gaming is because it won't only be used for gaming. I personally like the idea of having a windows machine just for gaming, a Mac for headache-free computing, and being able to have both in the same machine. Now, the iMac wouldn't be my first choice for gaming (that would be the Mac Pro), but with that DirectX 10 chip in it, it wouldn't be my last choice either.

so what sort of games would you be able to play on high?
S.T.A.L.K.E.R?
Half life 2?
Oblivion?

i dont have a clue ive been out of the scene for quite abit

Well Half Life 2 would run on a dishwasher. As for the others: yes, faultlessly - but not at native resolution.

Just bought one and love it! I was a pc user, but not any more. Very quiet, fast and very striking.
