Will Wright's Spore to be playable at Leipzig

How far along will the game be? Will we get to try all of it or just select portions? We'll find out soon enough; the Leipzig Games Convention takes place August 23 to 26.

Can I breed a pirate race with a ninja race with a robot race with a monkey race with a dragon? And they'd have eye patches to have night vision because their planet and solar system lies in shifting darkness every few minutes. And and and ....

Last year you could play around with the creature editor on the show floor.

It won't be on the Wii and DS until Christmas 2009 at the earliest. I think the other consoles will come later.
