Just by reading the game's title, your reading comprehension has increased exponentially! What's that? Your head is hurting? No, little friend. That's how you can tell it's working.

Sega somehow managed to one-up Brain Training in the name department. Though its real rival is Kanji Training... I wonder if their prof makes a good disembodied head.

Kyouto University's Professor Atsuji Tetsuji Foundation's Japanese Kanji Ability Official Certification (In Collaboration With) The Kanji Association Trainer Portable or like machrc said KUPATFJKAOC(ICW)TKATP for short.
Only Sega could advertise a game with a name like that.If it was develop by Nintendo it would probably be named "Super Professor Atsuji Tetsuji Foundation's Kanji Association Trainer DS".

Actually, the main title (in big characters) is just "Kanji Trainer Portable." The full title just announces that it's a "Collaboration Between Professor Tetsuji Atsuji of Kyoto University and the Foundation for Japanese Kanji Aptitude: Kanji Trainer Portable."
The Japanese government administers a standardized Kanji aptitude test called Kanji kentai, so this is presumably meant to prepare students for that. Unless you're really fluent in Japanese (I'm not), this probably won't be a very rewarding "brain training" game.

Kentai Rhymes with Hentai... :P
