Wow, this is from Famitsu. I guess Microsoft is doing better in getting its act together in Japan.

Most of those pics can be seen in the new issue of EGM. It's out now...three covers. (MC, pale green/yellow Spartan CQC armorset, and Elite in orange.)

Also in that issue is the ad Knuckles spoke about weeks ago, referring to 'A hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him' text.

Holy @#!$, are those map editing tools in that last scan!? There's certainly a whole lot of new stuff in these: Hornet, Elephant, Prowler, and a weapon called the 'mauler', also what the hell is that weapon thing strapped to the spartan's arm in that multiplayer scan, with the letters E.V.A. alongside it?

I was under the impression that in co-op one would only be able to play as [one] MC and Elites, but looking at the second scan makes me think Spartans will be available in co-op as well.
It definitely looks like there are two Spartans there.

What does everyone think?

sweet. the flame weapons are the opposite of the bubble shield. this can make for some very interesting multiplayer mechanics.

No, the other Spartan armorsets are for multiplayer only. Co-op offers MC, the Arbiter and two Elites.

No, the bubble shield's external shell catches on fire from flamethrower or Molotov; it doesn't go through it.

Did some research.

Found that Resistance also has a bubble shield called "backlash grenade", spiker grenade called "hedgehog grenade", fire grenade called "air fuel grenade" and flamethrower called "dragon". and the flame affects the environment just like in Halo 3. :/

So who's ideas came first. can anyone tell me this?

no, haha. i meant the opposite like one is shelter from range and ones shelter for melee.

you can go through the bubble shield, but it's advised not to go through the fire wall.

this makes tactics very intresting.

21 - Most of these aren't really original weapon ideas to begin with, but I doubt anyone could really tell you who came up with what first given that we have little concept of when each of them came up with these ideas in the development process.

i kinda tired but do the scans not show a few frames where things are floating up in the air, first a guy shooting off a crate in the sky and then the scorpion up off the ground

@19 Well if you wanna be realistic then RFOM took the flamethrower since it was used in Halo PC. If your referring to the grenade I'm thinking of which is the spike grenade the Hedgehog grenade works completely different than that they're no where near the same but since you'll probably argue then RFOM took the hedgehog grenade from the plasma grenade and put a twist on it(See sounds dumb right).. The bubble shield you can throw in the air because they don't necessarily work the same plus I've seen shield grenades used in several other games.

In the end I feel all developers take ideas from good games just like I can tell Halo had alot of influence on RFOM hey maybe Bungie liked some of the things in RFOM
