Shown in the new scans are cube- and torus-shaped planets, Mario in his bee costume and also a few images of Mario as a Boo. According to translations found on Go Nintendo, Bee Mario can use his stinger and Boo Mario will be left alone by other Boos (though one of the Boo Mario images show him apparently getting hurt by another Boo).
Also according to the translations -- we haven't verified the information ourselves, so we can't confirm its validity -- is that six worlds will be in the final game, each with multiple planets. Also, as per the usual post-N64 Mario game, Galaxy will feature 120 stars you can collect.
Super Mario Galaxy is hoping to move a few units when it's released November 12 in North America.

But because of his condition
He fell in love with a little ghost and that was all
Well, he can't be a pimp and a prostitute, too
On Nintendo's next console: hypercube-shaped planets?
A man can dream.

And yeah, that'd be hell fun with torus planets. ^^
It is also crazy that a Mario platformer is the most unique and original high profile game coming out this fall. I have never played a game where you run and jump around 3D planets while firing stars from the first person view with a pointer controller. I have never played anything remotely close to it.
Though the characters and basic concept are familiar, the core gameplay is anything but. The same can not be said for any other big budget fall game I can think of. I am not even that into platformers and am seriously looking forward to this title. My only fear is that Nintendo will make it easy to appeal to casuals. Damn casuals. ;)

Also I believe is because more people are hyping SSBB rather than Galaxy, yet it wont be a sleeper hit also is Nintendo fault they hype SSBB way too much while giving absolute zero info about other titles.I dont even know when Metroid Corruption is going to be released
Except for the pointer controller yes, its called "Prey".
Give it a break it aint original.
The question is have you played prey.

Also, my term "sleeper hit" is a bit strong. But if you were to rate games according to Joystiq/Kotaku/ign articles per week, Galaxy would be way, way down on the list, despite its potential to be mad awesome.

Even though, unless there's a black hole, you can't fall, you only have 3 chunks of health instead of 8, it makes it at least as easy to die as it was in Super Mario World (although there you had 4 if you counted Yoshi)
