hard to believe but im not sold the story seems like the only thing that holding this game up as for the graphics its only whats expected of a next gen title GoW is still king. the action in this game looks kind of slow the jumping tank is lame. they said the galaxy is huge but how many hours of content do they really have, i meen FFVII if your dedicated can easily run you over a 100 hours and that was PS1. So many worlds meens very short chapters and cut off maps. is one world gonna be like one section of san andreas i think not. every time i see this game i lose more interest. O the dialogue system is great because they give answers while they talk wow! i was kind of suprised nobody has thought of that. they couldnt help but take a jab at sony when home is not even a games its user interface. the face thing i got to say is nice it looks a lot easier than fight night round 3 but what about the ability to map your face make you the hero.

beans: People like strategy/command games, get over it.

MYPS3KilledMy360: So you think the Mass Effect combat and vehicle sections look lame, yet you referenced FFVII as lasting longer than Mass Effect in terms of gameplay hours, since FFVII would take so long MAINLY because of the tedious LEVEL GRINDING battles with the menu-based stand-still combat.

Then add in that Mass Effect offers actual replay value unlike an FF game, six classes, two genders, three backstories, branching storylines, branching conversations, to get the most you're gonna want to play many times over.

MYPS3 is a SDF drone. They could put FF X111 on the 360, and he will hate on that!! Look, Play your PS3 and be happy... Stop hating on the 360 because it has GOOD games, no.. GREAT games!! You and the rest of the SDF can get our sloppy seconds!

Graphics are nice, but compared to Gears Of War and Call Of Duty 4....meh.

The facial detail is far better than Gears of War in terms of realism. I prefer the art style of Mass Effect too.

Dont know why, but every time I see this game, I just get less interested in it, and want it less. It has tons of planets, but do we know anything about them? Can we fully explore them? What are my boundaries? How can there possibly be enough side quests to make me see every planet and enjoy the game for all its worth? It looks more like GRAW than the game I was expecting. I dont want to have to be bogged down with commanding my squad while Im exploring. Maybe my whole perception of the game is wrong: Im picturing an Oblivion-like adventure game, only thousands of years into the future and with space travel and interstellar locales.

I need to see the light on this game, or at least what all you guys are seeing that, for some reason, I dont.

It's not like Oblivion. It's like KotOR. Though instead of having just 5+ planets like KotOR to explore a tiny bit off, we have 40+ planets/moons to explore, no it won't be a whole planet, it will only be one or a few locations.

You have boundaries, what did you think each planet would be fully explorable? And I fail to see why you would think it is like GRAW, the combat has the same camera veiw as GRAW but it is still stat based with lock-on to enemies, the combat is less than half of the game.

Again, it's not like Oblivion, you have a party, which you interact with and fight with, that's part of the selling point of Bioware games, the in-depth party members.

You're expecting an Oblivion-styled sci-fi game, you're not going to get it. Oblivion's world was a tiny land, you could travel from one end to the other in the MAKO (APC) in a few minutes, Oblivion seems so large because of it's dense foliage, huge amount of useless items you can intereact with and hundreds of dungeons. Mass Effect will certainly have more square miles than Oblivion, but wont be as packed in tight.

Can't be bothered to go on.....

And it's only a few hundred years in the future.

Have you ever played a previous Bioware game? If son, compare it to them instead of Oblivion.

austin your so cool comparing a dated battle system. when did FFVII come out back then the graphics in that game were incredible how are we getting excited about a game we havent even played yet. i said the action looks slow an the tank was lame it doesnt this game claim to have rpg features. if this game doesnt live up to the hype you guys are pumping in to it ill be all over every game review saying i told you retards. FF, halo, kh, mgs, gta, rbx, cod tekken, graw, doa, fable those are all established games now. so when a next one comes out what do you expect? another good game. mass effect is yet to be established as a great game even though the book it was based off of was great. the same thing goes for any new series coming out wether on the wii, ps3, or 360. its ok if you wan to put all your hopes in a trailer and how you can make your characters face. its ok because 360fanboys are cool nd 360 had the best games ever HALO3 for life. STFU

Is this definitely coming to PC after 360, like the KOTOR releases?
