Today's most introductory video: Beautiful Katamari

Still playing is-it-or-isn't-it-an-exclusive, (hey, can you spare $50 million?), Beautiful Katamari's opening sequence has surfaced on GameTrailers. Having finished the other, less beautiful Katamari games, our joy in seeing the introduction video wasn't as great as we imagine a virgin Katamari player's amazement. And with this title landing on the 360, we expect a lot of gamers will be introduced to the delightfully quirky franchise with Beautiful.

Does anyone know the release date on the demo?

It's out already in the new september issue of OXM.

Yeah, actually. Apparently, it's right now. As of 5:45 Central Standard, it's on the Marketplace and careening through the interwebs onto my Xbox.

Well I played the first game, but even so, I was shocked by how odd this intro was...maybe it was the King of All Cosmos new outfit...

Wow, with this title, Force Unleashed, and HDMI included in the Premium systems, it might be just about time for me to pick up an XBox360.

The song reminds me of Jet Set Radio.

Looking sweet. Can't wait to get a 360 and a PSP so I can get this and Me & My Katamari.

Its "been about time" to buy a 360 for more than a year and a half. I'm looking forward to Katamari in October, but in the mean time I'll be playing the shit out of Bioshock, Halo 3, Blue Dragon, and the 20 or so games I've bought and enjoyed since launch.

Damnit i never want to buy into microsoft but they do have a couple of good long playtime games coming out this year :( I hope PS3 can match or i'm screwed!
