I've been to two E3's...they were fun.

The one thing I do remember was wanting some squishy shoes. My feet were killing!!

The new 1up yours podcast has Garnett bragging about how he played a final build of Bioshock and it makes me very angry and jealous.

Also, I'm very honored that you selected my quote of "You know what? No. E3 sucked." for the picture. I can't quite compare myself to the old man...

the wii cafe podcast has radically different levels depending on who's talking, and the guy with the accent spits on his mic alot.

That would be Joe McCollum. He's from Mississippi.

As for the varying volumes, well...we're doing these on the cheap. Like, real cheap. My voice is the one that comes in strongest because I'm hosting it locally and my sound can record much higher. Joe is coming from Mississippi, Carl and Eric are coming from upstate New York and I'm hosting it here in Pittsburgh, PA.

We're working on it, trying new things and new ways to host and different apps. If anyone has any suggestions as to how we can improve the show, please, let us know. You can email me directly at kevin@wiicafe.com

Play it Loud.
Great podcasts from two guys who own most of the consoles of this generation (One of them is getting a 360 soon) sometimes they go off on tangents, which is actually most of the time.

thanks for the plug, even if it was like the worst possible week for it hahaha (the transition is due to the fact that we're relocating our broadcast location into a bigger recording space with more room and retro gaming setups, etc)

seriously though, thanks for the plug and for supporting many different independent podcasts.

Oh man, the last two trips to Gamestop I left w/ a headache from listening to the staff blab on endlessly and LOUDLY. Two DIFFERENT Gamestops I might add. First it was a GS employee trying to impress some parent about the Wii "It's like the closest thing to VIRTUAL REALITY!!1!1!" - then last night when I was preordering Metroid I had to listen to no less than 3 employees going on and on and on about Mass Effect, COD4, and Bioshock to 2 equally annoying customers. From which my favorite quote was one of the customers saying he completely disapproved of any war FPS that allowed you to play a scenario as the "enemy," for it is just goddamned unpatriotic and wrong.

Hey guys—thanks for plugging TUMP this week. I think we're doing a good job with the show (besides, you know, the gaps between episodes), but believe me, we need the publicity. Mucho kudos to all the Joystiq crew, and to all the other podcasters out there.
