The industrious Frenchmen of gamick.fr say they spied the above image at a Microsoft marketing site that pretty clearly depicts a new 360 bundles for the Elite model, packed with Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. (A Premium model version was found later.) There's literally no other information available at this time save for these images, so we don't know if the packs will be priced at the recently slashed rates. Although the sticker does say that they're free, so we're betting that they're basically deal sweeteners.
Also, the photos were reportedly labeled as "Holiday Value Bundles" (they seem to have since been removed) so we're guessing they'll be here just in time for your grandma to knit you a sweater instead of buying you one. Adding to this pile of mysteries: The lack of any similar bundle for the Core model ... interesting.

They should also get scorn for insulting "tech demo" Wii Sports with "full games." Full games! WE freaking know that they're games. How can they be freaking not full!

Riiiiiiiiight Samfish, you just keep right on with those dilusions of grandeur.
Considering MS does different pack in bundles every holiday season since 2002.
I think it's the other way around.

With all the 360 versions sporting HDMI out now, they need to differentiate the Elite somehow to justify the $100 difference between it and the Premium.
IE. theres no reason for the Elite unless you want more HDD space.

Get Elite if you want to DL Antonioni's Blow Up in HD. Otherwise(if you have no idea what that meant) get Pro.
Elite is for movie buffs, snobs, junkies and such other artsi-fartsi fanboys and riff raff

They're probably going to price it at $500 or more. I mean these are 2 major title games after all. There's no way in hell MS is going to just price them at the regular price.
The Elite was just bumped down to $450 correct? I think $500 would be a good price for this bundle.

Oh, I beg to differ. Both of these titles have been out for months, and it costs Microsoft almost nothing to make more copies.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance? Really? Not that the game is bad, but what an odd choice for a pack-in. Even more odd than that Rockstar Table Tennis pack-in rumor.

I'm so suing CheapyD for leaking this. Even though he didn't.

It'll be the same cost as the regular system, that I'm not worried about.
It's like MS is always *this close* to getting me to buy the system again, but it's just never all together. Free games, price drop and a better chipset = my money.

And bam, wait until later this week... This will be the EU Xbox 360 Elite setup. Taking the Sony route and adding games to the console while keeping all the prices the same. It's a shit way of doing it, but anything which makes the EU 360 more value for money, the better.

I believe Elite also has an HDMI cable included, whereas Pro does not.

Has anyone else gotten this problem with the elite, or any 360 for that matter? I just bought an elite to replace my premium. ( I know about the warranty, but I had already bought a Circuit City one when I got the system. I suggest nobody else ever do that.) So My Elite doesn't seem to always want to retract the DVD tray. I don't want to return it because I am having enough of a time getting my Xbox Live ARcade crap transferred to THIS machine, but anyone have any ideas?

Well in Canada with the recent price drop all the places (like futureshop & bestbuy)have forza 2 bundled with it already. plus this week you also get splinter cell double agent or viva pinata with it depending on where you go. http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10089279&catid=23363&logon=&langid=EN

That bundle might tip me over the fence to finally get a 360 assuming that this 360 has the hdmi port, extra hit sink and hopefully smaller chip.
