Justin-- let's keep the incestuous relationship with your aunt off Joystiq. Thanks!

Not only do I not think it's "desperate" to include so much extra content in a game, I think it's irresponsible to suggest that it is. Comments like that might make other companies think twice before doing the same. I WISH other games would follow this model. It's not as though 360 gamers can download additional content outside of XBL. It's great of them to make the content available. Feel free not to download it.

Agreed, regardless of the quality of the game, ongoing support is something every gamer should appreciate.

I agree. More games should be doing this, not less.

they really need to slow down the content train, and start charging less for the old ones.

While you can now get like 5 maps for free, there's still the two other map packs(for a total of 9 or 10 maps) that are 500 and 550 points each, they should just discount those and charge a little for the new ones. i don't need the latest and greatest, but getting the older ones for free/ cheaper than $12 would be nice.

OMG. You actually got something for free and you still find a way to complain about DLC. If I were a developer, guys like you would make me just sell my game and move on to the next project.

no, i'm complaining that the older maps have been the same price forever, and more people are playing them. Not to mention those packs have like 5 maps each.

simply put, i'm not looking to play 1050 MS points to get all the maps for fear, considering this is digital distribution, it cost sierra NOTHING to distribute these maps, so the more they sell the more they make. It is alot easier to spend 250 points 4 times than 500 points twice. Plus cheaper packs, is more options, and allows gamers to pick and choose what they want.

if you actually read my comment instead of being a dick, you would have realize i was commenting that the older map packs cost too much, not a word about getting things for free is bad.
The pricing scheme makes no sense, and thats what i was also pointing out. Why does one group of 5 maps cost 550 points and 3 cost nothing? makes alot of sense huh?

Is it it me, or does someone sound ungrateful?

The developers should be applauded for this. This is not a move of desperation, I'm sure this DLC had been planned for quite some time.

Holy crap. If you're going to equate free content with creepy incestuous relatives, then what the hell are you going to say about Epic? Not for Gears of War, of course, but UT? No one was crying when they released tons of free content for those games, much less did anyone equate them they with desperate sexual deviants.

Who cares, it's free new content. More than what I could say for some other games out there.

I believe these maps are free on the PC version, in which the MP itself is free. Why would you buy this?
