Wii Warm Up: Favorite franchise?

OH! What I wouldn't give for Viewtiful Joe 3. I'd buy any console that gets that game in a heartbeat.
...unfortunately, it'll never happen.

If we're talking old school, though, Mega Man or Donkey Kong. I would love to see a new 2D classic Mega Man or Donkey Kong Country game.

hmm, my all time fav is mario, but i will say that i hope we get a version of RE5.

and a new street fighter wouldnt be too bad haha.

Earthbound, I also enjoyed Star Tropics, but it borrowed a lot from the Earthbound series.

- Armed with a Yo-Yo and Baseball bat

Tho, Earthbound is more of a Quirky-Funny pure-rpg. Whereas Star Tropics was more of an Action-Puzzle-Platformer with RPG elements.

I know it's kind of an obvious one but it would have to be the Mario franchise. For me Mario's platformers have always been the epitomy of gaming. The king of all franchises.

Other favourites would be the Legend Of Zelda, Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Donkey Kong, Internationl Superstar Soccer, Bomberman and Animal Crossing franchises.

It's funny, I'm not really a Horror buff but I think you guys got it: Castlevania has had more outstanding games than any other. Resident evil 4 was very good but not really a nintendo franchise.

But overall, I'm sorry I have to say that GTA is my overall favorite video game franchise. What I would do for a Wiimake of San Andreas.

I don't know about you, but if you REALLY are A Nintendo fan you should choose Mario.

Holy cow! And I thought picking a Mario favorite was tough.

For Nintendo's franchises, Zelda is my favorite. I buy all of the main Marios and Metroids but when Zelda hits I try to find a few days to just sit down and absorb it. And I like to savor the game. I make my first run last as long as possible and then go through a second time once my game stack has run thin. Twilight Princess took me 50 hours over 4 months to beat. 15 of those hours were in the first two days.

For 3rd party games on Nintendo, it has to be Resident Evil. I played all of the originals on Playstation and was stoked when GC got RE0, REmake, and RE4, all stellar games and still in my collection.

I'd be 90% satisfied if my game collection was only Zelda and RE games.

Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy.

I choose Kirby. One of the most addicting series I played. But mine second favorite would be Super Robot Wars and other series by Banpresto. Mega Man 2 is one of the best games ever too.

Sorry to be obvious, but it's just got to be Zelda. I've been playing since Links Awakening and I've just loved every single one I've played.

FINAL FANTASY! I still play 1 2 and 3. 2nd place would have to go to Zelda.

for me its zelda by far i love that series there is only one series basically for me that can beat that and it is the god of war series but thats not for nintendo
