If it's a Stevie Nicks song, no challenge.

Not surprised by this at all. I tried "Can't Touch This" on Boogie over the weekend and, being the very bad white non-rapper that I am, could only make incoherent sounds during the verses. I was only able to accurately say "Can't Touch This" over and over again and still managed to get a gold medal. The game is kind of a joke honestly. Real disappointing.

The game looked like a joke from day 1 -- how is this news?

I love the dancing though, it is quite fun. You just have to get into the game is all. nice change from an super serious game, i would say.

I don't think it's broken so much as totally retarded.
While this franchise originally looked interesting, EA has clearly blown it. They had a chance to make the first really good new rhythm game on the Wii, and instead they gave us garbage designed for the K-8 demographic.

If you're just trying to "beat" Boogie, than you're missing the point. You could roll up to a karaoke bar, blow in the mic and "beat the song" there too. The joy in Boogie is just like in real life-getting drunk with friends and singing your brains out. The dancing on the other hand is far more complex than people are giving it credit for. Actually performing an interesting dance while staying on the beat is hard...really hard. The game encourages creativity and probably gives too much freedom to lifelong gamers who are so used to being sodomized for not singing at just the right pitch or stepping on the right arrow at the right time.

Actually, if the baby wasn't so loud you would be able to hear the TV. Then you can hear that, how should I say this, all the vowels sync up. The noises the baby is making is at the same time and same sound as the TV, there is just no enunciation.

Is it that different from other karaoke games? Try saying only words that kinda sound alike, instead of the actual words and see if it works.

Either way, looks like a more or less sucky game. Now if there were only OTHER games for me to buy... W/e, soon enough...

Any rhythm karaoke game is like this, it just goes by the tone of your voice, see if it matches up in game usually. Any song in Karaoke revolution you can just hum and get golds there.

1 1/2 years old still totally counts as "baby" for me. I mean, unless you're saying it's some kind of robot or computer simulation.

I'm just saying it's a toddler. But I admit, at first look on my way-too-dark monitor she looked more like 3, while on closer inspection though, yea, 1.5 looks about right. So at that age it's probably just splitting hairs.

She still needs to be strapped when she eats. I call her a baby and she's my niece.

Wow, she's Captain N's niece? That explains the uncanny gaming ability. ;)
