DIY Wii Balance Board
All that's left is to find a PC game to test it out with – snowboarding sim Stoked Rider does the trick nicely – and whip up a script in GlovePIE to convert the Wiimote actions into input. Throw everything together and, voila, you can be balancing like a pro. Now, let's try to play Resident Evil 4 with it ...

Whoops! My video game addled brain read one for the other accidentally. It's been fixed.

Where can I get some Blue, and would that work on Brain Age?
That said, the Balance Board came out way better than I imagined. 'Grats to Mike.

Seriously, everybody needs a little blue. What store did they get that from?
fred the duck @ Aug 14th 2007 11:08PM
looks like it works well
Slvrgun @ Aug 14th 2007 11:37PM
Wow an accessory for a console you can barely even find in most stores.

Yes Stoked Rider is a snowboarding game. You can see the snow as he's riding. I also never knew you could use Blue as an object before, although I guess you can taste purple.
megapenguinx @ Aug 15th 2007 1:33AM
I prefer the taste of green
ThornedVenom @ Aug 15th 2007 12:23PM
I think Crazylink pointed out that it was a snowboarding game because the player is playing it as if it were a skiing game. ;)
In other words, he needed to make a board which looked like a snowboard or something.

research says that people who get senses inter-mingled (or overlapped) are usually quite smart.
e.g. Smelling and tasting (things that remind you of) coulours, or hearing how something feels.
I like the taste of red best.
Ive also noticed that everyon I know who likes drum n bass music is good at maths.
ThornedVenom @ Aug 15th 2007 12:25PM
To Kye: I love the drums. I actually started playing them last year, yet I suck at maths. I sucked at maths so much that I failed it for my final exams.

Well, it's a more sensible idea than the LAST DIY Wii Balance Board idea... (Big ass piece of metal with a big ass tin underneith it.)
rorkimaru @ Sep 5th 2007 12:37PM
ha! it has more features than the real thing. the real bord doesent have forward back tilt, just left right. you picked a great game to use tho. congrats on having more inovation deas than Nintendo.
