Readers pick best webcomic: Rare candy

While some may scoff at the scatological references in this week's VG Cats, the life-or-death (literally) decisions of what to put in Life's Great Skill Slots boosted Scott Ramsoomair's VG Cats into a very strong lead in this week's webcomic wrapup.

The silver trophy goes to Dueling Analogs, and Penny Arcade just edges out over the competition for bronze. Thanks to everyone who voted and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Considering I get the first-fifth post a lot (read: I have no life outside of my room), it kind of make sense. There's always someone to reply to whatever I have to say, and commonly someone will start a conversation.

You guys also have a strong tendency to upvote me if my comment is remotely witty. But Joystiq reader comment readers, you also commonly downvote me should I make a joke towards a company (E.g., making a low-sales joke for Sony, making a "tick tock Nintendo" comment if Nintendo sales are down, or making a RROD pun for Microsoft).

Whenever I make a joke or be stupid I get voted down. I guess there's a an expected level that we shouldn't slink down because they know we can do better.

Yeah, I've noticed that for awhile. I also figured out why the reply button only works half the time (depends on the path you took to get to the comments), but I don't know if they have the time/care enough to fix these problems.

Maybe when the next joystiq redesign comes.
