impressive little thing there...

though I do believe I'll wait for the sturdy wiifit board... not because it doesn't look like a fun project...but because I'm pushing 300 lbs, and i don't like the idea of that much weight hovering over my controller.

Your Wii board came out excellent. Nice job.

As for Tilt-Sensitive games, why not try something obvious, such as Galaga?

That was kool. Maybe some type of epoxy or Gorilla Glue will hold the glued pieces together better. The 300lb commentor might want to fashion a protective housing to cover the controller in case it gets stepped on.

Use PC-7 for the adhesive.. strong stuff.. a two part epoxy that you can pick up at Ace or True Value Hardware.

you can buy "scales" or 1 axis force sensors for less than 5 bucks and they can hold up to 200lbs (but rated at 100) and no worries about overloading. just fyi.

@vinyltiger
I would have probably used GOOP if I'd had it to do over again. When you drill into a tennis ball to screw it down, it deflates a bit, and can't hold as much weight. The tennis balls were compressing a lot more when I stood on the board after screwing them down, so it would really be preferred to secure the tennis balls in a way that does not rupture them.

Thats not how the real board works, the real board uses pressure on 4 pads, not tilt

but nice job anyway
