Continuing to respond would be stupid. This story did it's duty, it started a 3 page long flamewar and increased the hit count. Here's another protip from me to whoever decides which image goes with which story; Just like Muslims don't appreciate it when cartoons are drawn of their holy people with bombs for turbans, Christians don't appreciate blasphemy and ridiculous videos from either A: A real extremist game development studio, or B: A well designed troll, devised to get people pissed off. Shame on the rest of you for falling right into the trap and flaming each other back and forth.

What people don't understand is that there is a difference between religion and faith.
If you want a good example go watch the Christian vs. Christ-Follower video on YouTube. It pokes fun at the PC vs. Mac videos, but also has a very good point to be made. It doesn't say which is right or wrong OR EVEN if a faith in Christ is the right way for you. I just this it raises an interesting point on 'Christian' stereotypes, which are heavily present in this 'game'.

I consider myself a Christ-Follower. The only crowd this game will appeal to is the children of the crazies on TV.

I just wanted to say blessings to Crono and others who have not been ashamed of the gospel and have openly spoken about their faith in Christ. As you know none of that has been done is vain. The Holy Spirit is constantly pulling at the hearts of men and just as he allowed us to see the pitful state that we were in and delivered us from it, He will do the same for others. Just don't become weary in your well doing. Just remember the gospel while itself is good news it in its very natural is offensive to the sins of man. With that said we must not be offensive ourselves but simply deliver the message peacefully. God's own word will do the rest. Be encouraged.

Oh yeah on topic, this game is crappy and whack.

as a Christian, i had to do a review of this game trailer lest everyone assume that all Christians think like the creators of this game.

Thanks Almack. Its very encouraging even to have one other person on your side. I used to try very hard to get specific people on boards to convert or at least even listen to our perspective. I'd get very discouraged when I didn't get any kind of positive response (like today). Then I realized that some people just never will change their minds without an act of God, and to just continue fighting the good fight, because while the people I'm talking to directly may not have a change of heart, one of the hundreds of anonymous people reading might. And that thought is all the encouragement I need.

as a summation, the premise of this game is hypocritical at best, heretical at worst.

Where are the buddist videogame developers?

A)It's impossible to say that the world is better place with Christianity because, at least in the past 2000 years, we've never lived in a world without it.
B)All hospitals are secular, unless there's some branch of religious medicine I'm unfamiliar with.
C) Hitler was a Roman Catholic and made mention of god whenever it suited his aims.
D) We don't get our morals from scripture and never have. Even animals have a rudimentary set of morals as morals are evolutionarily advantageous.
E) You're right; this generally isn't the place for this kind of argument.
F)You're wrong about the one-liner but right about the sentiment.

I am sorry many of you feel this way about people who believe in one God and believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior. Many of us have not been raised this way as a child. Many of us have been all over the world. Many of us have experienced life at the top and at the bottom.
I personally am from a long line of people who do not subscribe to Christian beliefs, but my life, again personally, has been much better since I have let God take over. I turn all of my problems and burdens over to Him and I am blessed each day with a life that is
better than most. I truly thank God for His love and forgiveness for my past actions. Furthermore, Christian aren't on this blog bashing those of you who do not subscribe. I am raising my children with the knowledge of what is important, right, and will not only give them
eternal life, but will help them be intelligent, productive citizens of this world. If this video game saves lives, then I am all for it.
I believe that if one of you gave God half a chance, you would be amazed at the blessing you would receive. It would have to be a better life than some of you have and would help shape you into a person that studies history. The Bible is not fiction. It is actual fact. In fact our country that many of you were so blessed to be born in, our founding Fathers came here to escape religious persecution. Do some research! Go to wallbuilders.com and read some articles and do some of your own research. Do not just take my word for it.
