GH3 is rapidly going down the shitter- it was at the point where I was going to buy both GH3 and Rock Band, but GH3 keeps pushing itself deeper into the gay.

I don't know whether the blame lies with Activision or Neversoft (instinct tells me to blame the publisher, but Neversoft did already murder their OWN franchise...), but someone somewhere totally missed what made Guitar Hero such a fantastic game. It's all about fulfilling the fantasy of being a rock star. It's about creating that feeling of being on stage and being a performer, right in your living room. And Rock Band looks to be taking that to the next level.

And more importantly, this inclusion MIGHT make an iota of sense in, say, Rock Band. You know, 'cause you can actually do vocals. But Guitar Hero? Hello? GUITAR Hero... I'd even take C.C. DeVille over this decidedly unawesome bit of news.
If they wanted a vocalist so badly, they should have gone to David Lee Roth. At least some of his solo stuff is decent.
