Rumorong: Turok isn't delayed, it's been February

Turok didn't recently receive a delay. Period. It's been February all the way back since E3, despite what some major gaming news outlets are reporting. One outlet in particular even has the same video below their story which we've linked from GameTrailers after the break that clearly shows a Feb. release date.

Need more proof? Download the trailer on your Xbox 360 or PS3. They've all got the same date from months ago. As for Europe getting it Feb. 8, that's pretty much consistent with the way things work. Turok's already got a tough enough time being marketed by Disney, which is a shame because we definitely found our time with the game enjoyable. As much as August is a painful month for gamers in terms of delays, Turok just isn't one of them -- yet.

Welcome back Turok we miss you,now is there going to be a new Goldeneye?.With Banjo 3 and Perfect dark zero a new Golden eye is a must.

Is just me or the x360 is like a N64 in steroids,the only game missing is a Zelda Oot kind of game.

JP4,I dont know if I should feel exited since I love JP movies,toys etc or feel a severe depression since all these new writters and directors in town suck balls.

I dont want to see JP4 filled with ads of nokia and mountain dew like Transformers.

mountain dew was maybe 40 seconds on screen in Transformers if you weren't paying attention you probably missed it.

To my knowing Turok always supposed to be released Feb2008. It's smart of them too, with BioShock, Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, Call of Duty 4, it would be smart to wait until drought of early year to release another FPS.

I hate what they did to the Turok series... While I don't doubt that this new game will be kick ass, they raped the game with Evolution. Not only that, they're not continuing off from Turok 3... You know, where after the credits Adon says "I can save him," in reference to Joshua who died earlier and had his body taken over by Oblivion... Biggest let down ever with them not continuing it...

As a matter of fact, I'm gonna' play through all of them again. Got Turok, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Turok Rage Wars, and Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. Easily the greatest series of all time.

Turok is almost ready. We've been playing tons over here at DIS. It was originally supposed to be done next month but because of halo we pushed it far far away (huzzah for extra polish time)...and yes its a damn shame our marketing department is handling it, they have no idea how to go from Disney Princess to Turok plus they slashed the marketing budget for it AGAIN.

Thus concludes my last day as a slave to the mouse rant ;).
