If ever there was a game that had 0 room for lag it's this one. Unless they can make 100% lag free online, I don't want it.

I can buy the 360 version for $20 but I'm still holding off to see what the Wii port will offer. Scaled down visuals for better controls is a fair trade, if the controls work.

This is going to be one impressive Wii title. Let's just hope they don't make it like Wii Tennis and the characters walks around on their own.

@steve: Didn't the characters walk around on their own in the 360 version? I rememebr playing the demo at best buy and you really didn't control lateral movement.

I haven't played the 360 version in a while but the way I remember it is that you used the left analog to move the character AND to aim the shot, and you could use the second analog to charge up the different shots (as a replacement for the four buttons). Wii Sports Tennis would be like using only the right analog for this game, which would make it very stupid, IMO.

They should use the nunchuk analog and the remote together, The Bigs showed that it can be done well.

Make it Madden. Nunchuk controls body and Wiimote controls dominant arm/hand.

Here's how I would want it to play:

Nunchuk for movement.
Wiimote for hitting.
Hold A+swing for a shot,
hold B+swing for a different one,
hold Z+swing for another,
hold C+swing for another.
Then combos like A+B+swing and Z+C+swing.

imo.
