Soul Calibur IV's bountiful breasts bounce along as Namco Bandai recently released more images of characters in the game. The first outing for the Soul Calibur crew on current-gen consoles is becoming better known for its breasts than anything else following a first-look at Ivy and her string-top battle bra in early June. Now we have Sophitia (above) in her almost see-through Jennifer Lopez-inspired double-sided-tape-required battle gear. Her sister Cassandra can be found in the gallery below with her breasts packed in nicely with a hole to breath through and show cleavage. Seriously, these women are fighting with blades in these outfits. How is this sane?

Also, after the break, we have a borderline NSFW image of Voldo. Now, granted, Voldo has always been overtly sub-pornographic with a BDSM vibe; however, the place where he has a spike coming out of now may be a bit over-the-top. If you don't instantly imagine it, just try to conceptualize how Voldo would sit down in that outfit.

Call me "old-school" if you want, but I think when playing a videogame, the only thing I want to be hard are the boss stages.

Best selling SCII game was GCN just because of Link. Yeah I resent them greatly for abandoning us.

There are some great games, sure, but there are no games that I am willing to call a TRUE work of art, a TRUE cultural achievement. And don't throw Shadow of the Colossus or Okami or Psychonauts at me, they're all great games but none are true works of culture.

Video games are a young medium, and a particularly financially driven medium at that. If publishers keep making money off cheap, blatant appeal to teenage male hormonal urges, it will quash what little hope exists for video games to truly GROW as a genre, and to eventually achieve the designation as artistic medium

These 90 literal cans of shit are considered to be highly-valuable (EUR30,500 (US$25,000–35,000)) pieces of minimalist art. It's a jab at the culture of art itself and yet it is also very much art.

And you use Shakespeare as an example? He wrote those plays to earn money. I'm sure there were hundreds of unmemorable and worthless plays also written at the same time he wrote his ones. The difference was that a lot of people liked his plays better.

Surprise surprise, companies make games to earn money, and just like our ol' pal Shakespeare, they use them to entertain the public. So what the fuck suddenly excludes critically-acclaimed games from being "art"?
