Soul Calibur IV's bountiful breasts bounce along as Namco Bandai recently
released more images of characters in the game. The first outing for the
Soul Calibur crew on current-gen consoles is becoming better known for its breasts than anything else following a first-look at Ivy and her
string-top battle bra in early June. Now we have Sophitia (above) in her almost see-through Jennifer Lopez-inspired double-sided-tape-required battle gear. Her sister Cassandra can be found in the gallery below with her breasts packed in nicely with a hole to breath through and show cleavage. Seriously, these women are fighting with blades in these outfits. How is this sane?
Also, after the break, we have a borderline NSFW image of Voldo. Now, granted, Voldo has always been overtly sub-pornographic with a BDSM vibe; however, the place where he has a spike coming out of now may be a bit over-the-top. If you don't instantly imagine it, just try to conceptualize how Voldo would sit down in that outfit.

This is so stupid, can't they work on innovative gameplay instead of breasts physics for once? I mean *I think* that Talim is in one of those screenshots and she's supposed to be really young, and they even gave her oversized breasts? WTF

I'm pretty glad i don't have the console to play this, otherwise i'd be turning in my grave. or something.
SC used to be a cool game... seems like now its being coded by 11 year old boys, and marketed at them too. sigh.

take a GOOD look at this pic. Sophitia has not changed at ALL. it is just a questionable choice of wardrobe. look at this pic and just try to tell me that her breasts are smaller. impossible.

Siegfried is looking handsome but his costume is still ridiculous. They all are. Who the hell designs this crap? Taki honestly looks like she has two red birthday balloons stuck to her chest. You know how cheap balloons have this raised bump at the end? That's what her nipples look like.

In-game images of Sophitia aren't NEARLY as bad as that character art. So far, we've seen the most from Sophitia, Ivy, and Taki -- the girls of SC who've always been the most over-endowed. The others we've seen so far, like Tira and Cassandra, aren't bad at all, and Tira even looks toned down.
Now, as a pretty outspoken female gamer, I'm usually the first one to freak out when I see something utterly ridiculous. While I think that some of these may be toeing the line, I think we should see more of the less top-heavy females before we start up some sort of outcry. I really think they're just focusing on these girls to get attention for the game. If characters like Xianghua and Talim are suddenly crazy-busty, then yes, I can see speaking out on it, but this? Nah. It's just marketing.

Honestly ppl! PLEASE! She looks EXACTLY the same as in the last game. Her drawing for SCIII has the exact same proportions. I just came from leaving a comment about Ivy to realize that the same junk is being said about other female characters. The only difference here is her new wardrobe. And yes, I agree it is very daring as it is almost the same as what she wore in SCIII except without the bra.

the screwed up part about the sophita she is complletely fine with wearing the that and being virgin dya wanna no why. "sarcasim + truth" at the time of the supposed place in which the game is like 1early 1000-early 1500 or whatever it was completely fine for a womene to wear something like trhat in certain cultures.

by the way dont ya love how maggicalyy the niplles are never exposed and by just milimeters. o and on top of that they are weapon proof and impervious to all damage.
o and on top of that its ok to show every thing up till the niplpe but show a little bit o and you ve gone to far! but showing everything else egh thats just fine.
