Reload it again. They're getting a lot of hits probably more due to Digg than anything else. There's no such thing as the "X3F Effect" lol.

I thought it was funny, personally. I'm not so sure about some of the comments that really took it seriously, though.

This review is completely biased against the 360. Most of the review is bashing what the 360 "can't do" while boasting how "superior" the PS3 is. Last time I checked, in a review, you are supposed to review the game, not your dumbass bias for a particular system. He didn't even talk about the game to defend his 5/10 review score.

Hold on one second, has X3F been hacked or something? Unbiased? This is the most pointless review I have read. It seems to be the review equivilent of Andy Pipkin from Little Britain - 'I DONT LIKE IT'. Also he's talking about a PS3 version like its a sure thing? Am I wrong in saying there is no indication of a PS3 version at all. I played the same demo he did, and I can guarantee a lot more times and to come away from that with your leading thought being about graphical glitches just reeks of envy that the PS3 has no games line-up. Im sorry but PS3 fanboys are gonna have to work harder than this to dampen my excitement for the release. UNBIASED MY ASS!!!!

---------After many months of anticipation I finally got my copy of Bioshock and played through it over the past few days. There are many things to like about Bioshock such as the graphics (not animation), parts of the story and the water effects. That’s about where the good stuff ends.

First let me say how excited I was for the game after playing the demo on the 360. While the animation seemed stiff and you could tell the 360 was being pushed too hard it still looked like it had a lot of potential. So imagine my disappointment when I got the final version only to find none of the animation hitches, shooting glitches and AI was cleaned up. I also wonder how much better the graphics would’ve been had they not been compressed to fit on a DVD. Now I do not fault the developers for this, they only had so much system power to work with so maybe this will all be addressed with the PS3 version when it comes out.

To conclude, let this game cook in the oven just a little bit longer and wait for the superior PS3 version. Cleaned up textures, animations, AI, extra weapons, Home space, standard HDD and Blu-ray will make this flawed game into a perfect gem.

How is this review unbiased? Even after looking past the name (Sony Defense Force), a 5/10 is hardly a deserving score for this game. At worst, 9/10 simply because some people may not like the fact that there is no multiplayer...

Seriously, whoever thinks this review is unbiased, let alone good, needs some help...

I love this guys review, only because it did exactly what he wanted it to do.... cause a frenzy on the web. I think it is the most hilarious take on the game I have read yet. All those that are taking the review or this article seriously need to have a reality check.

I must say that the review was exactly what I expected from a member of the SDF. Very funny and delusional.

That review was funny... he stated that the game pushed the 360's hardware to the limit and that a better version will be made for th PS3 with cleaned up animations and AI. How stupid of a comment to make when you check most sites particularly Gamespot for reviews and comparisons of games made for both 360 and PS3 that are currently out, you will find that the 360 constantly (CONSTANTLY) displays better. Case in point: Gamespot has a comparison video review for Madden '08 played on the 360 and PS3 and the 360 version is crisper, clearer, and sharper on all views and the PS3 looks grainy in backgrounds and the details and the frame rate runs at 30FPS while the 360 runs at 60FPS. So if 360 is only wokring with DVD capacity and PS3 has BlueRay capacity of 50-50GB of storage... what does that say about the PS3's hardware capability?? Please someone relate this comment (question actually) to the dumb ass who wrote that review. Cause he just put his foot in his mouth throughout his ass where his words appear to be coming from anyway. He makes absolutely no sense in badgering the 360 at this stage in the game. So many PS3 fanboys argued that when the PS3 launched the games were not as good as 360 because it had a late launch and 360 was out for a year already.. it's been almost a year now and what is their excuse. I say this anytime I get the chance: PS3 is nothing but a $600, over priced, BlueRay movie player USB. It absolutely a useless shiny black box that is not even worth discussing anymore at this point. Sony tried to create a super computer machine to compete with Microsoft's elaborate Xbox (PC in a console form) and they came up way short. They would have been better off using a VAIO laptop motherboard and components and housed in a console box and called it a PlayStation than to try and design their on "next-gen console". PS3 is a lauging stock throughout the entire gaming world... even in Japan it is a fucking joke.

I just think the responses to this jokey post speak volumes. Look at how many of us have already jumped to attack this review, it just shows that we all own one great console and will soon be owning another awesome game that we will defend to the death!

Funny stuff. What's the deal with that site? Is it all parody? I looked it over for a few minutes and saw some news that seemed real (sales figures), and some news that didn't (Sony's rockstar purchase.)

Unbiased, are you kidding me? All that was was the ranting of someone who hates the 360 and wishes the game was out on the PS3. They had NO complaints about the story or gameplay or any of the things that truly matter, all they could bitch about was the fact that it would have looked nicer on the PS3 and for that they gave it a freaking 5 out of 10. That was about as biased as reviews come.

Ah, yes I do get this joke and I do find it funny. I think the biggest joke of all however is SDF themselves. If you actually have to form a club to defend something, then it obviously has problems that need defending. A good product does not need defending.. It's scary when fanboys actually organize into a group. lol.

This review was definately tainted by bias and I've played through just about the entire game(yes got it at TRU when it leaked) and this game runs like butter! No animation problems what-so-ever, I noticed ZERO screen tearing or framerate problems. I played through some of the game on HARD and I've never been more impressed with AI ever! The enemies play like you are playing against real players with intelligent pack attacking, flanking and they never follow the same path twice. The aiming is smooth and it doesn't auto-aim so if anything it's more like the real thing. The story is excellent and without spoiling anything the ending is worth every penny!

"Would you kindly" give this game a try because you won't be disappointed!

I thought the ending was quite short, but overall I think the game gets a 9/10. I too was able to grab one at TRU, I am going to be finishing it again tonight, 2nd time through. Next time I play, I will play on hard.

I am still trying to figure out if that review was a joke or if they really meant it. It is really hard to tell with fanboys (especially Sony fanboys) so I am in the gray area right now. In terms of a review, it wasn't a review rather than a shallow attack on a game that isn't coming for the PS3. If it was serious then that reviewer needs to be brained. If it wasn't serious then I enjoyed the laugh. Either way, I will be playing the game on my "inferior" Xbox 360 come tomorrow.

Doesn't seem that anyone who responded on the site appreciated his opinion either.
