Today's chiefiest sequel: Master Chief Sucks at Halo 2

Warning, video language is not remotely safe for work, small children, or people operating heavy machinery.

Ladies and gentlemen, Master Chief is back. This time he's in for a double whammy, learning that The Arbiter taped over his movies with episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond, and finding out that the Halo 3 beta has expired. Poor Master Chief.

He tries to soothe the pain with some Halo 2 action, and also serves up today's video in the process. It's not quite as good as the original (not enough Master Chief laughing lolololololololololz), but it'll kill some time between now and the release of the retail version, which looms ever closer.

(Sigh)I think this game is turning into the new Madden. I may be the only one with the balls to say it, but here I go: Halo is a DECENT shooter series. NOT SPECTACULAR. It is the best thing on XBOX, so thats like saying a cheeseburger is rediculously delicious after eating a dog turd. The cheeseburger is ok, but next to dog turds it will blow your mind with tastiness. Ok, there. Have at thee.

I play it I like it, and I agree with you (only I play it on PC). The funniest thing about it is, it seems that the 360's biggest exclusive isn't all that...exclusive. I can play Halo (and Bioshock) on my PC, so where's the insentive to get a 360 in the first place.

On topic though, I thought the first video was hilarious. I was surprised to see Master Chief get a few kills in Halo 2...he doesn't suck as bad as he did before.

Please, find a console FPS with a better online multiplayer component. I dare you.

I disagree. Although Halo is certainly not the most amazing game ever, it is a well-made first person shooter with an extremely fun online multiplayer mode and a very engaging story. Also, the games will end with the trilogy, instead of releasing the same old same old each and every year for decades.

For me at least, if you approach Halo from the "OMG THIS GAME ARE TEH BEST GAME EVAR!" standpoint that you hear so much, then it is definitely a letdown. But if you approach it viewing it as just another first-person shooter, it is a pleasant surprise.

Dwells55 the funny thing is they can't find one because its not possible....I cant understand how you could even disrespect the series by saying something like that... The game is revolutionary it has influenced every FPS on the market, and single handedly shaped console online...If it wasnt for H2 XBL wouldn't be what it was today and neither would PSN who borrowed ideas from XBL... Halo is top 5 greatest FPS's ever made even if you don't think its the best its in the argument and thats all that matters

So wait, in what way is it like madden? The games are sequals not carbon copies. Not the greatest leap from game to game but it is atleast noticeable.

In any case the first video was much better.

I loved the suicide note, the "pros play at 10" (5 inverted FTW), and the "omg double kill with sword" thing. It's amazing how often you actually hear stuff like that online.

Halo is okay. I do like these movies though. "For great justice" made my day. :D It amazes me how the Zerowing references never die.

I don't play Halo, but I can identify with a lot of the shared traits with other online gaming communities. Notably, the lack of social skills....

The thing is, there is a large division in the gaming community, Halo fans vs non Halo fans.

Many people feel that Halo is the pinnacle of FPS, while others don't think it is a big deal in terms of FPS design.

I personally don't like Halo, but I give it props for being the first FPS since Goldeneye to actually be good on a console.

That was possibly the stupidiest video I have ever seen. The language reminds me of playing Halo 2, which I quit doing since no one playing that game can go two words without saying "faggot." Oh how I wish Bungie would come up with a server for Halo 3 that banned all idiots like the guy who made the film so regular joes like me can enjoy some casual multiplayer.

But...but he's making *fun* of those idiots in this video!

Very funny, but the original was slightly better.

A more accurate depiction of Halo 2 online play has never been conceived.

It's people like this that make Halo great! Singleplayer just rulez even without "OMG doublekill with sword..."

halo 2 is one of the best fps i have for xbox.
it used to be boring, but after i started playing it on the 360 i got hooked and now im excited for halo 3.

it's dissapointing to know that i cant play it online without a fee. :(

The original was much better - funnier, had more flair. Only the sword erection bit saved the "sequel".
