Sony has announced that, in addition to bringing Folklore to the PlayStation 3, a PSP version is also in the works. Kouji Okada, who as our friends at PSP Fanboy point out worked on the Shin Megami Tensei series, is working on the game, according to a Sony representative (via Kikizo).
No other details are known about the title. The PlayStation 3 version of Folklore is being shown this week at the Leipzig Games Convention.

Is that a picture of the PSP 2000 or the... PSP 1999?

No surprise there. Playing the Folklore demo felt like playing a PS1 game in high-def. I'm sure the game is doable on PSP, albeit with lesser graphics.
