We had our concerns, but Shadowrun has really impressed with its continued support after launch. It seems that FASA and Microsoft are actually committed to giving the game the sort of fine-tuning it needed to become a top-notch multi-player experience. To that end, the game just received its third title update.
Most of the changes are things only fans can appreciate (the "elves' regeneration ability has been tweaked," for example), but we're sure it's a big deal for people who are still gliding and porting. If you aren't among them, maybe now's the time to take Shadowrun for another spin. We've got a full list of changes after the jump.

nah...
I've owned the game for less than a week and I already feel like I could use some more maps and perhaps a way to customize the characters so all the trolls or whatever character don't all look the same. The game is still overpriced by $30 - $35.

Support for the game? Obviously you haven't played the Vista version. The first patch was released on June 24, and almost all vista players with normal networks (that is to say, use a router to connect to the net), and it took them till August 2nd (after the 2nd patch was released) to put up manual downloads. And with this third patch, we're still waiting on a manual download, because guess what? Vista players with routers STILL cannot automatically update (and no, it's not GfWL, Halo 2 updates fine, automatically)

wahhh. Cry baby. Oh noes! You have to go to the website and PATCH the game, just like 98% of PC games to date!

Christopher7xii, I'm fine with going to the website, but when they DON'T release the patch is when I get annoyed. I've always been a PC gamer, and am fine with patching, in fact, I prefer it, because I can keep it for when I reinstall. What I'm trying to point out is shadowrun has a horrible update record on releasing patches for manual patching.
King of Gods, If you read my post, it is the game that is having issues updating, and why should I open myself up when other games work fine? Hell, even my xbox 360 updated shadowrun (rented it to play with friends) behind a router without any ports forwarded)

I've had the game for a week and I'm cool with the maps. But I would like to customize what my Human, Dwarf, Troll and Elf looks like. Its kinda odd that all the humans look identical. I'm just glad they polished the game so much more than Gears. No sticking to walls on accident, or not being able to change weapons is a relief.
