Before most of you have even welcomed your BioShock Limited Editions into your loving bosoms, 2K Games is warning that the Big Daddy figurine contained within might just be busted. One reader report we received said that his Big Daddy, much like a drunk dad clumsily putting together a playhouse, had a broken drill bit.
Luckily, 2K says that they're already on the issue and will have a replacement plan set up soon. While new Big Daddies are being churned out, those with broken figures are going to receive a printed edition of the BioShock art book, "Breaking the Mold." Oh, and 2K's picking up the shipping cost too. While it's an unfortunate circumstance, we're glad to see that 2K is doing the right thing. ... Now about that widescreen issue.
[Thanks, Michael]

I would have prefered the caption, "Oh Noes!".
I just got my PC collectors edition and it appears to be intact...now should I break it to get the free art book?
Its probably like 9 pages long and the size of a jewel case maybe not worth the effort.

While we are on the subject of Bioshock LE swag, is anyone else disappointed by the fact that it didn't come in that cool embossed case that we've seen pictures of? You know, the one that (most of) the rest of the world is looking forward to getting?

Busted drill bit of doom bites dogs' butts' with dentures' broads. Dying to breach dikes but disingenuously breaks deal for blowing Denmark's beautiful dams. While battling Decepticons and 'Bots destroy battle damaged barrier. The Dreaded bears descend boldly dashing back defiantly bringing Defenders belatedly defending backwater detailed barracks. Dinnae' say Brigadoon...

I went ot get the regular edition, whihc was sold out so I got the special 90 dollar canadain after tax edition. For bioshock it is worht it. The problemn is that the drill is a seperate peice that is slotted in to a hole in the arm. Get some kind of epoxy in there and jam it on. Problem solved.

I hope they put the return plan soon. My Big Daddy has a broken left hand...and the middle finger of that hand, which just looks wrong right out of the box. At least my pain will go away by getting a fancy art book, but what happens if the replacement big daddy also comes broken?

I'm going to pun some noobs. I make it a point when using pawns to intend them. There's nothing worse than punning something only to want it back after the Shifit Guy sells it to sum pore sole.

I was going to buy Bioshock Limited edition today when the guys in the store told me,"nop we dont have it yet" and I was like WTF? it already shipped "well you will have to wait a month" and to make it worse I cant pre-order a Legendary Edition of Halo 3 anymore since they dont have it avalible just the crappola limited and normal editions.
So thats the story about how I ended buying Pokemon Diamond...
