Typically, store-exclusive console extra content bonuses do not require a separate pressing; they're nothing more than codes for unlocking content which is on the disc no matter where you buy the game. These codes are typically posted on gaming sites such as gamefaqs as soon as the game is available, if not sooner.

This looks pretty bad, to say the least. Maybe the Japanese version will have j rock songs, and I can live out my dream of being lady boy jamming along with An Cafe.

Well, considering I've only ever listened to (and liked) Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, and Nirvana on that entire list of songs, I doubt I'll get it. I'll just get GH III or Rock Band.

Guys, Jam Sessions just has directions for playing these songs. It's not a rhythm game. You can ignore the song list entirely.

yeah people. these are just the preloaded songs w/ sheet music. the actual potential for songs is unlimited.

and oh yeah, this games gonna be atleast 2992929393 times better than GH.

hahaha.
yup.
people still don't understand that this is just the sheet music list...
I mean, you could go online, and get sheet music for any song, and play that. Or make up your own song, etc. I'm definitely getting this

That just goes to show you know nothing about the Japanese game Jam Sessions was based on. The Japanese game had no songs in it you just did your thing. Jam Sessions is drastically an improvement over the M-08.

@idioteraser

It really seems like you are the one who knows nothing about the Japanese version. First, It's called M-06 not M-08 and if you actually played it, you would know there are some songs on there...

hahahah thats sad the songs are just a list of text chords with midi/sampled guitar playback you'd think they would throw in a few more songs.. although then they would have to pay roaylties/licensing just for a list of chords... you could always just check out a guitar tabs site.. but yeah less than 20 songs? thats the sad state of things

the code is The Code while in free play, guys.

also, 20 songs is just the kind of stuff a how-to 101 guitar book would probably contain. although you'd hope for maybe DLC albeit impossible in the current implementation. but hey, at least you can write your own songs!
