$10 is a bit too much for me for this game.

Im waiting for SSF2 Turbo HD Remix .. although, i wonder how much they are going to charge for it given that this is already pretty pricey.

$10 is a bit much for this game? Why are so many gamers such cheapasses? People have got to remember that this is a business and people want to get paid. You'd get all sorts of upset if you found out you were selling lemonade from your stand at cost, because you wouldn't make anything! How can you say that $10 is too much? It's not like the companies are seeing that much of a profit from that $10 after MS takes off their cut. I find that, for the most part, you get *alot* of value out of the Live Arcade titles. Most of the people I speak with say they spend more time with Live Arcade than they do the physical disc games.

SSF2THD will be 800 points ($10USD) as well. For you sir, you might as well start saving now. I mean, if you're going to bitch about 10 frickin dollars, you might as well set up a couple of charity car washes with your sister. Make sure she wears the short shorts for me thanks.

You can also add me to your Tag list - Zeruel99. I will gladly kick your poor ass over and over again in Street Fighter. I play both Anniversary and Hyper Fighting.

$10 adds up over time. I too love Live Arcade, but insulting other people for being thrifty just irritates the hell out of me. The man even said "$10 is a bit too much FOR ME (emphasis added) for this game." If he doesn't want to pay $10 for it, why the hell does it bother you?

I feel the same way about Bioshock personally. Is it going to be a great game? Yes. Is it going to be worth $60 for one run-through? (From everything I read, the only difference the second time around is the ending. I'll probably catch 99% of everything the first run, I'm anal like that.) No. Pretty much no game is worth that. That spells rental for me. Yet other people that have said this in forums have been blasted for it. Why?!

I say thee WOOT! SPF2T on the PS1 is hands-down the greatest puzzle game ever made. It NEVER received the respect it deserved. Assuming they didn't totally fuck it up (which they very well may have. all that talk of rebalancing scares me), that may FINALLY be rectified. My only concern is that the 360's D-pad is shit. If you have the option, and aren't an achievement whore (which sadly, I am), I would strongly advise this on the PS3. The d-pad is just that much better, and will make all the difference. This game moves FAST, especially against other humans. You really need all the responsiveness you can get.

That's it I'm picking up a 360, car expenses be damned. Metroid Prime 3 is gonna have to compete for my attention next week.

thenino85 - C'mon dude... $10? If that's alot of money to you and you're out of school, then you're in ALOT of trouble out there. I understand getting a deal on the stuff you buy - I do it all the time. $10 in 2007 doesn't buy alot. You can't even go to the movies with $10 at most places. What would be an optimal price to pay for this game you think, $5? Please, the people at Capcom/Backbone/MS have to eat too.

I understand where you're coming from with Bioshock. I rent most of the games I want to play because after beating them there's no point in keeping them, and trading in your old games at EB is like going to trade your books in at the end of the semester - you get jack and shit back.

i'm with you, man.. $10 bucks is nothing.

i'm sorry but if this game were to come out as a regular disc release it would end up costing way more than a measley $10 bucks. at the very minimum it'd be $19.99... i'm just sayin'...

personally, i love this game.
(i've been meaning to pick up some more ms points anyway)

You people may be able to spend Hamiltons willy-nilly, but for us college folks we have to watch what we spend.

I have a Gametap account already, so the only reason why I would think to spend $10 on this "new" version of Puzzle Fighter is for online play, which the Gametap version suspiciously lacks.

But paying $10 for online play to a puzzler I always thought was rather overrated to begin with isn't really a good deal.

Oh and to whoever it was that said this was the best Puzzle game on the original Playstation, apparently someone hasn't played Puzzle Star Sweep. Star Sweep!

As long as the controls are tight, this game will be tight also. I wonder if Shen-Long will finally be in this game?

$10 adds up over time? LOL

1. You don't have to buy EVERY. SINGLE. ARCADE. TITLE.
2. The demos are free - see if you like it.
3. Magazines add up over time, too. Just skip an issue of Teen Beat, will ya?

I've been fairly happy with the Wii and it's VC games, but it's titles this this that finally make me start to feel left out in the cold. Now I'll need to (in no particular order):

A) wait for the PC version
B) wait for my eventual breakdown and purchase of a PS3 or 360 (for other reasons, not just Puzzle Fighter)
C) be satisfied with the PSone version and no online play

yes yes yes!!!
finally! i've been waiting for this for what feels like forever. i'm thrilled it's finally out, and i don't really think $10 is that much to pay for it, considering that the original Puzzle Fighter for Playstation is still $30-40 through gamequestdirect or amazon. i'm happy; i thought it would cost much more.

can't wait to start making 14 year old boys & people my own age cry again :D
