I still think that these developers creating compilations of old early 80's games are missing an obvious goldmine. Instead of just giving us the same old games (even with better graphics)- create a party game around them. I think people would have more fun with old Atari-era games if the games were designed as short mini-games (like Warioware) and if it was competitive with other gamers. Oh well- I don't think they want to put that many resources into these rereleases.

They make shitty games, and then complains that they dont sell enough games.

Maybe if Atari starts doing some good games.

They should go out of business and then Nintendo should buy them. That'd give us access to the Atari 800, 1600, 2600, 3200, Lynx, CD, and Jaguar.

This is why Atari is going down the drain. Atari Classics? Are those the only type games Atari knows how to make? Sorry, no sale.

If Nintendo owned them I bet Fernando would run about posting that they make pretty games.

Evolved classics?, like the poorly done crap they did for the xlive that didn’t sold quite well because people were smart enough to know those games doesn’t worth 400p?.

Really I don’t see my self playing that in the PSP, maybe in the DS but not in the PSP. The only 2 games for the PSP I’m interested from Atari are D&D tactics and Hot PXL .

BTW what they hell happened to Hot PXL it was cancelled like Earthworm or something?.

I got my kicks from the 60 games in one Atari 2600 mini game console (at target for like $30). Do I need to rehash it again on a PSP? No! Come now, where is the original game company ideas? Exploit the Oldskool alittle too late? Or open up their library of ALL games...(not easy I bet..with amounts of sub-licenses to renegotiate...)

I've said it before and I'll waste more of my precious time saying it again. If you are going to keep rehashing this stuff Atari then do it up right. Make the games playable online over LIVE or whatever online system the console has. What good is Combat, Space War, Slot Racer, Maze Craze and the LOAD of other two player games going to be by ones self? How hard can it be to make Comabt work over LIVE? Jesus it's 35 year old graphic technology and 1 vs 1 it should run like a dream. Bundle it with an original joystick compatible with the console and sell it for $50.
