so you're telling me that the people who bought games every 12-24 months help pay for the 100+ games that guy bought?.....so I usually buy 2-3 games every month sometimes more...but that was made possible because the causal people buy ONE game every 1 to 2 years? that doesn't make any sense....the countless games that are release every year are funding by people who buy maybe 2 games over a 24 month timespan?....that just doesn't make any sense

If it wasn't for the casuals, PS2 would not have had such a fanbase. Without such a large install base, there wouldn't have been so big of a library of games - since developers flock to the 1st place console. Therefore, without the casuals, there wouldn't have been that many games to play.

It's the same thing the Wii has going for it now.
