Sweet. I'll be going up to my local comic store to get one of these. Too bad I didn't look into this better though...I was up at my dentist's office on the 22nd and the comic store is RIGHT beside there. Like literally next door.

Halo 3 FTW!

Anyone read this yet? Any good? I've never bought a comic book in my life, but i looked up where there would be a comic store around my house thinking that they don't exist. Turns out, there's actually a bunch of them in the Anaheim area. I guess for 4 bucks, i can pick one up and check it out for myself, but just curious what everyone thinks.

People, if you don't have a comic book store by you, just go to a Borders bookstore. They usually have a good stock of comics.

Anyone know when issue 2 comes out?

Generally the next issue comes out a month later.

I'll be getting this in addition to Season 8 of Buffy and the Dark Tower.

Issue 2? We're still trying to find Issue #1, man.

I bought a couple of collector's comic books last year for my brothers Xmas present, but I haven't purchased anyfor myslef in 15 years or so. Still, I'll read these just to get the perspective of the missing story elements.

Buy The Watchmen, and 300, for true comic experiences.

Both are fucking amazing.

after reading this article, i looked up a comic shop in my area. i went to their website and they have tons of ccg, figurines, statues, shirts, and over 100,000 comics. i'm now afraid to go in. it will be like an ex-heroin addict taking the long way home. ;)

Enjoyable.. reminds me a lot of the early one-shot Boba Fett comics, both in art style and in presentation.

I hope the rest of the comics are as good. Licensed comic book titles tend to go downhill after they establish a fanbase, usually because the publisher changes to a cheaper ($$$) team or the team wants to move onto something else.
