Taito's Exit, formerly on the PSP, is currently in development for the Nintendo DS, according to a recent issue of Famitsu Magazine. Players will once again be taking on the role of famed escapeologist Mr. ESC, as he runs, jumps, and climbs through structures to save disaster victims and find the, well, exit.
According to the Famitsu article, the game is slated for a January 2008 release in Japan. No word yet of a North American release, but given the critical success of the PSP version, there's no reason not to expect some localization of the adaptation in the near future.

Glad to see this game coming to DS, I loved the PSP version and thought it was pretty underrated, especially in sales. I see it in bargain bins for $10 and it's still not selling. For all the critical acclaim it got, I don't think it sold all to well. Still, I'm glad to see it coming to the DS, as the touch screen capabilities would make this game even better.

BTW what happened to the xbox live version?.
Exit was highly unsold for such a great game,What a shame it deserves being in a system where it can sell well.Damn those PSP pirates.

Science? I follow Mythbusters. I know that doesn't count for anything scientific though.

Never heard of it until today. Thanks to the U-tube, I can say that the PSP version had great presentation and that it'd be interesting to see it on the DS.
Of course, I don't expect it to be graphically on par with the PSP version due to resolution and horsepower, but it's promising.

In my experience it would be something like March of the Minis in the Ds.March of the minis is similar to exit.
