Gamersyde, wonderful media mongers that they are, have posted a nice video detailing some of the fun you can have with Halo 3 saved films. This particular demonstration is being performed by Bungie's own Brian Jarrard. The presentation is similar to the one given to handsome journalists like us at E3 earlier this year. In the video, Jarrard shows off the ability to move the camera around as well as change camera angles. He also takes some time to pause or slow down the action for dramatic effect. The video is cut quite a bit, so you won't see the whole presentation, but seeing saved films in action as well as the level of detail present in the latest build of Halo 3 is definitely exciting.
Now all we need is a video of Forge in action and we'll be set.
Game of the Year Confirmed! Seriously how good does this game look. Whoever still thinks this is a High-Def version of Halo 2 needs their eyes checked or is a Sony-Fanboy.
Sweet, can wait. Isn't the release date the 25 of September? Because I just pre-ordered the Limited Edition today and the sales clerk said she call me on the 18th.
I also agree that this game should be game of the year. I personally think Bioshock was a lil overhyped with all those immaculate high scores. Sure it looks and plays nice, the story is good, etc., buuut, that's it! I'm enjoying Bioshock but after I beat once or twice, back to blockbuster you go. There's no replayability, how many times can you honestly go through the levels, it's not that long a game.
Anyways, Halo 3 has an excellent plot as we all know. Not only that, but the campaign looks like it's going to be amazing. Not to mention you can play it over and over again with 3 other players! Online, offline, with your mother who cares. That's a huge plus on the social cooperative experience.
How about multiplayer. Holy shit there's so many different game types! And Forge will only add to that customizability. You can also customize your pink Spartan even more!
Replays, image sharing, video sharing, expansive multiplayer levels, huge vehicle wars, cqc battles, plethora of weapons, equipment, man cannons, tea baggin'...man if one game hasn't done it all, it's got to be Halo.
Zeus... If you said stupid shit like that to me in person... YOU wouldn't be very FAR from a severe ass-whopping...
But since you're a hypocrite who is going to purchase Halo 3 anyway... I'll just have to do that on-line...
All who think this jerk off should be banned for consistently providing his extremely pesimistic and not to mention abolutely useless and unappreciated opinion... Say Aye
Am i the only one who noticed the multicolored controllers (while watching it the second time of course) and also the weapon MC has on his back at the end thats green???
Big deal. So he stated his opinion. He hates the game. I bet the only ass you ever kicked was your pet cat anyway. Play the game and stop writing checks with your mouth that your ass couldn't cash in your lifetime. We all know nerds and geeks are pussies.
Wow! I loved the idea of the ability to save replays and watch them and edit the videos when I first heard of it. And as far as I can tell from this video, it looks great! I wonder if it would be possible to save a replay of each mission you undertake through the entire single player campaign and edit it together to make a Halo 3 'movie'? Hmmm...
