PS Tags let others know your love for the PS3 [Update]

Does no one else find the idea of essentially bragging about how large your PS3's hard drive is or how many games you have extremely sad? It's not only insanely materialistic, it's also SO unimportant in the grand scheme of life. I think that if you get off on bragging about how big your HDD is or how many hours a week you play your PS3, you seriously need some perspective. It's kind of like those people on Hidefdigest.com that list how many HD DVD and BRD titles they have in their signature file - these people need lives.

Sorry for the rant there, it just kind of makes me sad when it seems like there are some people who define themselves by how sweet their gaming rigs are.

still not automatically updated like the 360 tags though, which is what i want... otherwise its just a sig that i can make myself in photoshop, only cooler.

oh stef why do you always have to bust my balls ;) the thing cost most of us $600 we will brag about it as much as we want!

So, why should I use this over PS3tags.com? It has way more tag styles, avatars, list of games, and overall there tags look much better.

well no PSN updates but other than that these guys "seem" to be on the right track here .. i do like that its not an inconsiderate PNG file thats a 150k in file size .. as a forum mod i appreciate that.

This site is very cool. I've been using it for awhile now, and I love it. It's a lot better then the other PS3 Gamercard websites out there.

nice site, but so slloooow, is a pain to use. The site must really be busy.

PS3tag is slow, the tags look like a child of ten made then, they are large, garish and mis-shaped.

High quality, many styles and a great forum and community. Site is really fast too.

1st: Johncena .. your site came back the day after we went public beta .. at that point there was a membership of 11,304 .. now there are 13,703 .. that means your base has grown 2,399 member since relaunch .. we have grown 5,700 + members in the just 24 hours more.

2nd Mike .. you baby get your facts straight .. i have posted nothing of the sort on that site .. it was Flava that went ape shit on your forums and then issued an apology about it, just like i apologized to him for having harsh remarks regading the competition on my homepage.

If anyone cant take the competition it seems to be you that had to come in here and highjack the post just because you could not deal with the positive attention to what we have done. You probably should not have resorted to name calling if you are trying to get people to visit your site.

You should try to maintain a positive attitude. Especially when taking criticism. I have no desire to bother with either site as I find no value in this service; However, many do and your comments (attitude) in your last statement has probably turned many away.

How do you expect a site to get members when its down. 2000 odd since ps3tags came back in a lot mate. Its been like.....2 maybe three weeks.

It seems that you, like so many online, love to argue through your computer when all people are doing is giving their opinions. Thats what the comment section is for.
