Surprise! Medal of Honor: Airborne demo is go

Great, but does anyone else see instead of MOH Airborne?

I meant a "demo name"-tag instead of MOH airborne?

I only read the title before I booted up the Dashboard.

What is the game like? Are the graphics awesome or crappy?

Yeah, too busy playing CoD4 beta to give this a try. Let me know if it is any good as I might pick up the game if the CoD4 beta ends too soon.

This demo is awful. Really, really bad. MOH really died after Spearhead, and all the console versions so far have been terrible. Hopefully it's just because it's a demo.

Downloaded it in the background while I've been finishing up the Arcadia part of Bioshock. I have no plans on buying it, so I'll see if the demo is capable of changing my mind.

Is it just me, or does the aiming seem very slow? Even with sensitivity up to full?

Also, why does it take a round of bullets, or a headshot to kill enemies? You cant just fire random bullets, you need to shoot each enemy one by one, stupid...

Now I've played the demo, I'm not sure I will be paying £40 ($80) for it.....

i went guns' a blazing and it worked
and im not having any difficulty with the aiming, i always played CODs so its nice to have a lean feature.
Plus, the running and jumping in this game looks perfect.
they really did a good job on a first person POV

Truly was not that excited about this game but the demo is pretty solid. Droppin in randomly does make it feel a whole lot more sandbox-ish and in my book that is a good thing.

This might be the game to fill a few weeks for me before Halo starts the next slew of quality titles rollin in.

Is it me, or is the aiming off in this game?
Shooting from the hip seems more accurate than shooting from the shoulder...

Demo seemed ok. Aiming wasnt very accurate at all. And I had a hard time telling the enemy from allies. Had to just shoot at everyone.

The game looks great but no matter how perfectly I line up my shot while scoped in I can't seem to kill them/get headshots but like 1/10th of the time. That kinda killed it.

Why can't EA make a WWII game that is superior to Call of Duty 2? Bet they wish they would have paid 2015(Infinity Ward) the money to keep em now. This is a major let down even though I'm not sure why I thought it would be good in the first place.

This is the end of the line for the medal of Honer games, at least it should be. This game is complete ass. It dosnt even compare to COD 1 on the xbox original in terms of gameplay. Im not going into a full blown out review of this here but man that game is terriable and at best just barely better than Midway's Hour of victory. U can go in guns blazing the entire game and completly wipe the bad guys out plus yes even if U aim U can barely hit what ur aiming at. Whats up with the lean? Its totally almost completly useless and when U arein aim mode U cant move around unless U press yet another button whilst in aim. The default control scheem is total crap and where is the prone position? Man EA made a big mistake releasing a demo for this game.

After playing the demo further I can place shots quite well, and when you press down on the right control stick you go into a sprint which is nice. The crouch and moving side to side up and down is nice and could be interesting in multiplayer. The game isn't bad but it lacks any kind of wow factor considering we've seen all these guns, tanks, AA guns, etc thousands of times before. I won't be buying or renting this game but that's not to say it's terrible, I'm just sick of WWII shooters.

i thought the game was pretty good. not amazing in any respect, but i had some good fun playing it. i won't be buying it on launch, got too many good games at the moment, but i'll definitely consider a rental at some point, or buying it if i see it second hand in the future.

This game isn't the worst fps but it is far from the best. I used to be a medal of honor fan but it pales in comparrasion to COD 2 or 3 in my opinion. Like I said b4, it's barely any better than hour of Victory and will be easly over looked with the other games hitting.

And as far as using the letter U goes, I'll use it if I want to. Its not like I use it in a offical review or other form of publication. Its casual lingo, dont like it cause it slows ur reading then dont read it.

Aiming was kinda hard to do. I was hitting them and they weren't falling well at least it looked like i was hitting them.

I actually liked the demo. All the complaints relating to "i can't shoot waaaah", all I can say is "learn to aim". I was pulling off head-shots left and right with the Kar98 and the M1.

I really liked the sprint+bash attack, and the leaning. Leaning was real useful for those tricky shots. The running/jumping animations were a nice touch that made it feel a little more complete.

Oh. But I couldn't score a headshot with the thompson to save my life. Not sure how the sights work :/

I'm not quite sure why everyone is hating on this game so much. I wasn't too interested in it before, but I had a lot of fun with the demo.

Initially yes, your weapons aren't incredibly accurate but once you start getting the Marksmanship awards they actually get quite good. (I think this is a great idea for a weapon upgrade system, by the way.)

Also, the way you can control how far you are crouched or leaning to the side while in aiming mode is just great. I -hate- when I crouch in one of these games and all of a sudden I'm too short to shoot over sandbags or other cover. This system takes care of that problem.

I won't rush right out and buy this game, but at the very least I'll rent it and give it a playthrough. I might buy it if I see a bargain.
