Would still be enjoying my GOW setup like this if that console didn't die and get replaced but yeah seems like the covenant one is the best, which is sad. Wish they had a sweet human setup like the covenant one is.

Considering most of them have gotten pathetic reviews (Lair and Heavenly Sword) while the majority of the others will probably be pushed back...you know until they 'unlock the power of the cell'. Not to mention a decent amount of them are timed exclusives. The facts are every multi-platform game that has come out have pretty much unanimously been declared better on the 360 throughout the gaming community..that is a fact. Oh you meant Unreal Tournament 3? Big deal a timed exclusive, pretty much every decent Ubisoft games so far has been on the 360 half a year before PS3. Why would we want to play against PC gamers and why would we want to use a keyboard/mouse? That dfeats the point of prefering a console over a PC.

I'd probably also be a little more inclined to purchase if I wasn't already spending oh..190 bucks on Halo 3 already! (Halo limited ed. + spartan controller + Halo headset)

To my own defense, I don't yet had a second wireless controller or a wireless headset. =)

personally as a long time pc gamer i am almost more excited about halo wars than halo 3. in regard to the life after halo comment above.

can someone name at least five more games besides halo 3 and bioshock and mass effect...just five...not a large number.very reasonable.

Killzone 2. LittleBigPlanet. Uncharted. Lair. Heavenly Sword. Warhawk. Socom. Metal Gear. UT3. Haze. Ratchet and clank. Time Crisis 4. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Now im not even gonna list the other dozen games that dont interest me at all like some rpg's and stuff and lets not forget some great games that we share such as resident evil 5, assassins creed, Kane & Lynch, COD4, Condemned 2... all the games coming out for ps3 are the shit. theirs no doubt about it. those are the reasons why i bought ps3. now if your that stubborn of a person to say that all of those games are shit you either have no idea about any of these games..or your just completely blinded by your ignorance. thanks.

halo 3 will probably be a good game. bioshock is a good game. but besides that what are microsofts plans. i watched their e3. i read about their games. but they dont offer what sony has in the future as far as games and technology...i mean c'mon a fucking dvr built into the system..thats fucking dope.

i think what made me get a 360 vs. a PS3 is the big games out right NOW.

when Zelda 64 came out I had to get an N64.

when MGS and FF7 came out I had to get a PS.

when Metroid Prime came out I went and got a Gamecube.

i did the same with a PS2 and MGS3, same with Ninja Gaiden and Xbox 1.

when a Heavy hitting title like MGS4 and FFXIII are AVAILABLE i'll go get a PS3.

i won't get a PS3 for a Virtual Home or games that are mediocre like Lair and Heavenly sword. Haze is VERY yellow and seems just like another faceless shooter. i'll have to wait and see the verdict on that and Uncharted.

LBP is NOT a reason to buy a system.

Another reason why NOT to buy a PS3 right now- Developers are still working out the kinks with it. for instance in the meantime i'd like to play the version of COD 4 that i know will have superior textures, framerate and online service.

Shooters overall feel more Natural on the 360 as well. the controller melts in your hand.

Call of Duty 2, Comdemned, Dead Rising (love it/hate it game, you can discount this if you want), Gears of War, PGR3, Quake 4, Prey, G.R.A.W., Splinter Cell: Double Agent. But wait, those games are all out already, so they don't count :P

How about Splinter Cell: Conviction, GTA4 Exclusive Episodes, PGR4, Halo Wars (doesn't seem to be getting very much hype, so I don't think you would mind me adding this one), Beutiful Katamari, Too Human. That's six (unless you don't count the GTA4 stuff).

BTW, We're getting Quake Wars and UT3 will have user-made content (which, if I remember correctly, the PS3 won't have (please correct me if I'm wrong)). Also, in all fairness, I think you should take off Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, and MGS4 (those being your most hyped titles). In addition, you should remove Heavenly Sword and Lair because they are both already released (you could make an "already out" list of your own if you want (Resistance FTW(multiple parentheses FTW))).

I hope I have not said anything offensive toward the PS3 (that "already out" thing was a joke). I hope we can continue to engage in an intelligent discussion of our own beliefs and preferences toward the two consoles and their appropriate games. I would also like to state that I am not a Sony or PS3 hater, and, in fact, I am looking forward to almost all of the games you listed previously. Judging by your #39 post, I would infer that you aren't entirely a 360 hater yourself, and I respect you for that.

Dante Dante Dante... so young. The PS3 is a very powerful system with some good games, but you're missing the point of the Xbox 360 man. We have friend lists, integrated voice chat, xbox live arcade, a marketplace, and of course some of the best games EVAR. PS3 is more for the loner who likes single player games. .03% of people own a 1080p television by the way.
