Bomberman Live DLC erupting this wednesday
Hudson has announced that new content for Bomberman Live will be (bomb) dropping this Wednesday, August 29 on Xbox Live. Bomb-Up Pack 1 will cost 350 250 Microsoft points (US $3.13). (Update: Hudson has issued a correction regarding the pack's price.)
New content includes ten costume sets, two levels (casino-themed "High Stakes" and tornado-laden "Zeppelin"), two new leaderboards from the Zeppelin map, and a Frag game mode, where victory dependant on the number of successful assassinations. We're still waiting for the "Zero" map, where players fight on and around stacks of unsold copies of Bomberman: Act Zero.
[Thanks, Alphonse]

Even this game is better than that silly xbox 1 look-alike downloadble title we call Warhawk.

Oh please, Sky_Shark.
This is an article about an XBLA game. PS3 trolling not allowed.
By the way, should I download this game? It looks fun, and I'm a big fan of classic Bomberman games.

Man, how can you be such a dick? I mean so what if you dont like the game, do you have to go out of your way to bash it?
Get over it and go play a game or do something more productive then ruin people's time here.

Guybrush,
As a huge fan of the series, I was very very excited about this. I played the demo and felt they did a good job bringing it to the 360.
However, once I started building my own custom games (Kick,Punch,Det and skulls FTW) I realized they had changed the feel of the game dramatically.
The kick is not instant as it was in all the other versions and Det has been gimped to be nearly unusable. It has about a 2 second delay and it beeps a warning.
I haven't played it since.

Third that Sky_shark. No need to open up the comments on that note.
BTW Guybrush, if you haven't played Bomberman before, and like multiplayer - I would totally give this a shot. It is totally worth it for the price.

Maybe we'll cross paths online...

"350 Microsoft points (US $2.80)."
I think you got the math wrong.
Isnt 1600 points $20
therefore 800 points $10
then 400 points $5
hence 350 points $4.375

Nice, I been waiting for this.

It's worth noting that Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be dropping this Wednesday as well, just in case you were wondering.

I disagree with Johnny Quest.
As any Bomberman lover will attest.....the XBLA arcade version is a very worthy port.
Suffice to say....SUPER REVENGE Carts are a must.
The online multiplayer works great....and the character customization is awesome. (yes I have unlocked all 60 Costumes) So this pack comes at a great time.
The testament to how good the game is for 360 is that my friends and I had a 4-hour Bomberman session last night.
Aaah....XBLA.....how do I love thee??
42 Games purchased and counting......
