I wonder if the lose of good coders , and the probable strengthening of the PSPs security in the future will have any effect on the future of PSP homebrew :?

What I want to know is: how does someone get into homebrew, i.e., start coding it? I mean, these homebrew OSes aren't open source are they? How do these guys debug the OS when they are coding it? When the main guys of homebrew drop off the radar, people always wave the flag of "someone will pick up where they left off." How exactly does one pick it up?

The term homebrew is silly.

This is a software development kit for the PSP it helps you get started in the PSP homebrew scene. Although to do the stuff that Fanjita and Dark_Alex do you may need more I'm not sure.

Saigon

It's ironic that you mention the stagnation of the homebrew scene just days after its biggest release ever (Pandora's Battery, of course)

Can you read? He never quit he said ....I have had to decide to stop working on projects that require that level of trust.

Where did he say I'm quiting and never doing anything on my own again. He can trust himself and release things in his own.

I agree with LoyalistRevolt, he does not specifically mention that he is quitting the scene, but it seems that he won't work with C+D and Noobz again hence the: "I expect that Team C+D and Noobz will continue to release stuff without me."

With all the popularity he has, I doubt he will quit unless he has lost complete interest in it, but right now it still seems that he has love for whatever he does, but only has a problem in trust.
