Typically, new demos don't drop on Xbox Live over the weekend and here's the reason why. You've now missed out on two days of playing the Medal of Honor Airborne demo, because we were too busy with our action-PAXed weekend to tell you about it. Or, worse yet, you noticed the demo and thought that Joystiq didn't know about it! You thought that we were ... out of touch.
That's not the case though, fair reader. It's just that we have a sacred trust with the game industry: They don't do anything interesting over the weekend, and we get to play games and not keep to close an eye on the internet. So feel free to enjoy the new demo, just be aware that you're playing the product of a sacred trust violation, and if your soul is irreversibly tainted don't come crying to us.

Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Aiming is a little spotty, just have to learn how to use the sights properly. I like the running/jumping animations, the parachuting, and the leaning is a nice trick.

Wow! You're the cleverest EVAR! Look at me make negative comments witty in hopes to make my ego feel greater!
Whatever.
The game is actually excellent for a MoH game. They all absolutely sucked since Frontline, and this is quite the shock. Falling from the sky, allowing you to run on roofs and play the mission in ANY order rather than follow a train track?
Looks pretty "new" and "Fresh" to me.

Haha, my tip!!! I was looking for new Demos on Sat morning and low and behold there it was. I thought it was great. Like Chenry said the running animations and parachuting its all done really nice. The graphics and lighting are awesome. I also thought the weapons sounded great too. Im a big fan of WWII games, especially when they are done right. Ill be picking this one up =)

I enjoyed the demo more than I thought I would, actually. I haven't liked the last few MoH games, so this was a pleasant surprise.
I love how the Aim mechanic allows you to lean/crouch/rise in increments related to how far you move the analog stick. It's very intuitive and takes care of issues with being crouched too low to shoot over cover.
Also, I think the weapon upgrade system is rather ingenious. It rewards you for sticking with a certain gun for a while and it gives you something else to strive for while playing. I found myself playing the demo a few times to try and level up all my weapon skills.
I'm definitely not a fan of EA lately, but I'm looking forward to giving this game a playthrough.

good demo, but i found it to be no better than cod2, but obviously much better than hour of victory.

I really can't imagine this being any better than CoD2, which is pretty much the benchmark for decent WWII games. I'll pick up the demo to check out the parachuting mechanics, but I highly doubt I'll end up buying this.

Well as a big fan of the COD games (and trust me I am a big fan) I would say this is prob better just judging by the demo. Its really that good and the controls feel so much better than COD. Of course im not talking about COD4 since its not a WWII game and ist not even out yet.

Very disappointing demo. Nothing new or exciting here from the MOH franchise. Will not buy. Do not want.

This demo was so boring. Another rehashed WW2 game. They should've stopped at COD2. Honestly, folks...there's nothing new here.

Wow! Looks like this will be the first good MOH game since frontline.

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't too bad either. I played a few minutes of the demo and liked it. The feel of the game was good but the aiming is a bit wonky. The parachuting was a really cool touch and the graphics are pretty nice.
I never really played a lot of WW2 shooters for very long so it wasn't like I was ever really burnt out.

Cracks me up when people feel the need to either be in the MOH or the COD camp. Like if I played BOTH games and enjoyed them id suddenly implode.
That said, I love this demo.....ive played it over and over, and even when I know Ive killed all enemies and completed all missions, I end up loading it again. And I most likely will feel the same way about COD4....***GASP!!!***
