As a guy who was in the Beta (but thanks to Bioshock, won't have the money until Thursday for this game) and has been fiending for it ever since the Beta ended, I can say you, sir, are a piece of crap. So many unanswered questions I have about the game. Things I never tried....
-Riding piggyback on a Warhawk. Sure, it can HOLD another person, but can you ride on top? If so, this drastically reduces the need for a landing zone.
-Have they lowered the minimum point scores. On team deathmatch, choosing between 4, then 500 points seems a tad unbalanced?
-Does the retail version install. I'm lazy, I like games directly on the XMB.

How is Epic games able to put a fantastic story mode and online for a game that was in development for 2-3 years while warhawk, an online only title, with poor gameplay and graphics and nothing genre defineing has been in development for 5-6 years with a team of 150-200 sucks so much?

Considering the control scheme to Metroid just would NOT work with Warhawk, I'm sure everyone is wishing they had Metroids controls in Warhawk. And while we're at it, why the hell does Lair play like a flight sim? I mean, I SHOULD be able to play that game with my beatmania controller. And I even have the dream of one day controlling Manhunt 2 with my maraca controllers for Dreamcast.

I seriously am baffled by why Halo fans feel to need to shit on Warhawk. Is it not possible to have differen tastes, or even more so, like both games?

Actually, a game similar in production values and "multiplayer only" on the 360 that released at a similar price point was Fuzion Frenzy 2.. which kinda sucked too. I think it was $39.99 at release or something near that. When you buy the disc-ed version of Warhawk.. you are really just paying $20 for a headset. The video thing is a joke.

hahaha you can hate all you want. doesn't bother me. i'm happy to replace my socom logitech usb headset with the slick bluetooth one.
yeah the gfx look cartoony but its crisp and smooth and with 64 players in a game, im more concerned with quick gameplay. as for the price--yeah well i bought a ps3 so don't worry guys--i can afford 60 bucks for a slick piece of hardware + software. just glad to have a system that can USE third party headsets, and wont crap out on me while im playing all night long. and you can keep xbl--i'd rather avoid having 13 year old kids call me a ni---- every time i kill them. psn is thankfully a lot more chill.
i'll hopefully be playing with my fellow ps3 gamers after work tomorrow (assuming a store in the DC area has it by then). and (like i said in ps3fanboy), if i see one of you in warhawk, i'll be sure to tell the rest of joystiq how i f-ed you up haha.

Why would there be more 13 year olds calling people a ni----- on XBL, when they can do that for free with your sub-par PSN trash. Yeah, you have to pay for XBL, but it's worth it for a stable connection and a solid structure. And for an online only game, isn't that what you want?
