CoD 4 beta sign-up continues through tonight

We just wanted to remind everyone that the Call of Duty 4 beta sign-up will be closing in the next few hours when they'll quit taking entries and award the tokens to a lucky few.

If you haven't heard, Infinity Ward was equally enraged at how yesterday's beta tokens were given out with all the server problems and extended sign-up through today. Infinity Ward promises that everyone who signs up before 7:00PM pacific (10:00PM eastern) will have an equal shot at the 87,000 beta tokens they have to give out. The lucky few who get selected will be notified via email within the next 72 hours, so keep your spam filters off and wait patiently. 10:00PM eastern is the beta sign-up cutoff fanboys ... so get to it already!

Yeah, I can't wait to see if I get an email. Having spent the last few days finishing up Bioshock and saving Little Sisters, I could really use some multiplayer slayer fuc-up fragfest action. I mean, bad.

The stupid thing won't send me my confirmation e-mail.... I've tried ever since the site went up! It's rediculous, whoever they had build the site did a horrible job. As a web designer myself I've only run into such incompetence once when I hired some html guys from overseas to cut costs....

Hey guys, I was watching the Forge demo and the dude said you push up on the D-pad to go into editing mode. Up on the D-pad? That USED to be voice chat...hmmm... open chat finally?

@6 We cant even sign up for the beta, because we cant get to the beta sign-up web page until they send the confirmation email!

I've tried to sign-up using 2 different emails, they just wont send it!

@13, Do you mean to say that you're just now trying to register on the site, let alone for the beta? Not that it helps you now, but you should have registered on the site months ago if you knew about it! Why would you wait until the last minute to register with the site?

@14 I signed up (Multiple times) 2-3 months ago... They never sent the confirmation email. The "Resend the email" button is useless too...

Everyone that signed up will get a token. Yay.

I just got my Token Code about a half hour ago, downloading the beta right now.

I Just saw this and figured everyone would be happy to see it too!!

Seeing as how it took time for some people to get their emails for halo 3 beta, it will take day or so. I just really hope I get in. I went to the page that shows that you are entered into the beta sign up a few times after I signed up the first time. Is that bad?

NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL HERE EITHER, WHEN I TRY TO REGISTER FOR THE SITE!!! Yea, good job guys, way to make the site easier!!! SO much better than crashing on me again like 500X!!!

I hope mine went through, when I hit submit (for my info) the damn site crashed. Sigh... I tried to resign up but it would not let me.

Alex B, same here, man. I hope they didn't eliminate me from it because both me and my brother emailed from the same computer so they could think I was cheating, but we have different gamertags and 360's.

When you say you just received it, do you mean you just checked your e-mail for the first time in like 20 minutes and realized it was there, or you have been checking your e-mail constantly and you literally just received it? Sorry, I'm just anxious to get mine.

I hope I get in. I'm watching my email like a hawk. Sadly, the window to recieve the email is 72 hours... and I won't be staying up that long. :p
