We haven't heard much from Camelot Software -- the developer behind various Shining Force, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis titles -- ever since the company announced that it would be putting aside its Nintendo projects to focus on its online golf title for the PC, I Love Golf. The latest issue of Famitsu, however, announces that the Japanese developer will be porting the game to the Wii, retitling it Wii Love Golf.
Interestingly, Capcom will handle publishing for Wii Love Golf, leaving those of us who were hoping for another Mario-themed Sports RPG a little disappointed. Perhaps we'll still see appearances from Capcom's franchises, much like how Tecmo filled the cast of Super Swing Golf with Dead or Alive characters? Rockman gets equipped with five iron?
