As fun as the game looks, I can't help but feel like the players look like a bunch of adults jamming on Fisher Price play instruments and being really serious about it.

First of all, this game is going to rock my socks off then it comes out. (And probably loot my wallet too.)
Second, out of all due respect, the lead guitarist looked to be playing on medium (or a super easy hard song.) I didn't see one orange throughout the whole song. I might have missed them, but the solo didn't even have one.

Pros? The guitar and bass players were on medium... maybe even easy.

I take my comment back. I just watched it again and paid more attention to the guitar and bass parts. Wow, I'm an idiot. I still don't think they're playing on expert though.

Seriously, can we stop pretending like the price of Rock Band matters. I've officially reached the point where the only thing that could deter me from picking up this title is the loss of the ability to breath. And even then I might mandate that my corpse be buried with my 360, a copy of this game and the drum kit.
On the other hand, if we keep getting good bands (Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, etc) only to receive poor songs from said bands (The Hand that Feeds is an absolutely terrible choice in my opinion, and Creep isn't exactly ideal either), I might have to rescind my blatant fanboyism.

the worst part is that alot of these songs on these type games are harder on the game than they are in real life, Free Bird, minus the solo in the middle, for one, but Bite The Hand That Feeds is really simple to play.

I really don't see why everyone is so hyped about this game. It seems really expensive in my opinion. I will just be picking up GH3.

Yeah, but they'll have fun doing it. And surely that's the point, yes?
At least, I know it is for me.
It's a game, and people are serious about playing games. It's entertaining. And, unlike a standard instrument, you get immediate, empirical feedback showing how well you're doing.
And it's not like the majority of people who are playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band have any thoughts about being able to pick up a real guitar and be the ghost of Hendrix or anything like that. I know I'm getting good at a video game, and I'm good with that.
I am definitely along the line of Intellectualdiot concerning what it will take for me not to buy the complete package. This game is going to tear it up.

i dunno - the failure to add new - GOOD - tracks to GH2 makes me almost not want to support this game.. it looks like fun.. but. but the missing DLC on GH2 makes me sceptic

The audio quality of that video is terrible. I couldn't even hear the song they were meant to be playing, just a load of fucking crowd noise.

hahaha @ 11... but I'll still buy it. I've got it reserved, none-the-less.
