Cool! Streets of Rage is a surprise bonus!

Ah I still remember the XBLA days of yesteryear when we'd be happy just for SOMETHING (anything!) to be released on a Wednesday!

Does anybody know if Puzzle Fighter allows same-console multiplayer with the demo version? I want to try it with my wife before I shell out any sort of money...

4 player local multi would've been really nice to have for puzzle fighter.. oh well, i'm still definitely getting this one. Why does it seem nobody else is as excited about this title as me? I've been eagerly awaiting it

Puzzle Fighter was an instant purchase for me...I still have my original PS1 copy of this game. Definitely an all-time favorite.

Just bought SoR2 and played it for the first time in 15 years- it holds up really well. The controls are tight, the graphics with smoothing are decent, and the music still rules. The problem I do have is there's no sound/music test!!! I can't listen to a specific Yuzo Koshiro track on a whim like I could on the Genesis version. That guy is the s--t.

@MDJ2010,

The only games that were ever mentioned for release this week were Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD, which came out; War World, which was rumored to come out but did not. At no point was there ever mention from Microsoft, or or the developer for that matter that sensible world of soccer would be coming out this week... whatever lead you to believe it would? You seem pretty worked up over something not coming out on a day it was never set to come out on...

codemasters announced 29th of august as a provisional date back in june or july.....it was never set in stone though, and there'd been a lot of talk about it slipping to september recently.

Bought them both this morning but have yet to play Puzzle Fighter. Went through and got all but 3 achievements on SoR3. The was and still is amazing. Yuzo Koshiro has never lost his touch and speaking of Yuzo, Maximum Tune 3's OST is going to be released on September 27th; WOO!

@ AoE - I sound worked up? Ok your normal!! Codemasters actually did state this date on their official website, believe me they did cos ive been checking for updates every day for ages. Its a shame this site is full of posters who would rather bash people than be helpful. At least jose_edwaldo can be bothered to be helpful rather than an asshole, although as I say this date was specifically mentioned as official at one point on the codemasters website, hence why I was suprised it wasnt up. You not think its a coincidence that they spring out a trailer today instead, maybe next time know your facts before speaking!

SoR2 is the fucking shit.

SPF2THDR is bad ass. 1 of the best Wednesdays in Arcade history.

Now only if we could get Duke Nukem and Quake 3 arena on the same day, Wo....
