Video game fans and awkwardly-inserted references to animated comedy
Family Guy go together like deaf guys and grease, so the announcement of the show's arrival on the Video Marketplace seems like a natural fit. Before you start making plans to ditch your Sunday night watching ritual, you should know that you'll only be able to get the first two seasons next week along with the feature length
Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
But hey, if you've somehow missed seeing every episode of
Family Guy 20 times between Fox reruns, Adult Swim and those DVDs your stoner friend Mike left at your house, you'll be able to catch up on Sept. 2. Giggity giggity goo.

Unless there in hi-def and fairly cheap i have no reason to dl them.
Eric @ Aug 30th 2007 11:17AM
No kidding. $2 a show? That's ridiculous. Maybe if they were becoming available the day the show first aired. It should be $1 a show, if that, since you don't really own them.
Shagittarius @ Aug 30th 2007 10:51AM
I do not get this show.
doomcloud @ Aug 30th 2007 11:10AM
it requires a sense of humor
Phranctoast @ Aug 30th 2007 4:02PM
you may need a brain as well. All kidding aside. A lot of the references hit on topics that pre-date anyone not within the 25-35 demo.
megaStryke @ Aug 30th 2007 10:52AM
Cue the Family Guy haters in 3... 2... 1....
megaStryke @ Aug 30th 2007 10:52AM
Damn! ONE second too late!
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 10:52AM
Wait wait wait. These are the good eps, so yes I will dl them.
hvnlysoldr @ Aug 30th 2007 11:01AM
I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.

Retard coming through. Certifiable retard not my fault.
(suckle) AHH! (Stewie on Peter action)
No I didn't spill out all the sperm and then refill them with my own.
Patrick @ Aug 30th 2007 11:10AM
i dont care if simpsons "did it first" because family guys style i like better, its the thinking mans siumpsons
GRANTED @ Aug 30th 2007 11:14AM
"thinking man's?" lol.
i don't think it requires a greater intellect to appreciate family guy. its just funnier, and more random. it goes where simpsons can't, because it targets a different demographic.
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 11:16AM
Well maybe in the first few seasons that was the case, but now??? Honestly I think that honor goes to South Park. They deserve it.
doomcloud @ Aug 30th 2007 11:19AM
thus the 75 million
Patrick @ Aug 30th 2007 11:23AM
i cant stand south park, i like two episodes both of which were done in a different style, the one where they pretend to be ninjas and the wow one
GRANTED @ Aug 30th 2007 11:12AM
stewie isnt in the picture. does that bother anyone else?
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 11:17AM
Oh shit you're right. I knew someone was missing, but I didn't know who.
GRANTED @ Aug 30th 2007 12:46PM
maybe they are standing on stewie's head.
Rymix @ Aug 30th 2007 11:13AM
Freakin' sweet!
hvnlysoldr @ Aug 30th 2007 11:13AM
I'm getting tired of both Simpsons and Family Guy using flashbacks to tell jokes. I can never seem to remember which episode they belong to because they usually not linked strongly enough to the plot.
zero @ Aug 30th 2007 11:17AM
Yeah I agree. I sometimes want to see a specific bit or song and I have to sit and think about which episode it belongs in. Sometimes I have to actually search for it with Google to find the correct episode!
megaStryke @ Aug 30th 2007 12:23PM
But flashbacks in Family Guy don't link to a previous episode. They are non sequiturs.
Zachary Hinchliffe @ Aug 30th 2007 11:19AM
Family Guy is a show I don't want to like but can't help but like anyway.
LAboy @ Aug 30th 2007 11:28AM
I hate Family Guy, I'll rather watch South Park any day.
Penguin Warlord @ Aug 30th 2007 11:52AM
That's kind of funny cause my stoner friend Mike did leave season 1 at my house. Goddamn you joystiq your sneaky spying.
ganrob @ Aug 30th 2007 12:02PM
shouldn't a big part of this story be how much space an episode will take up on the harddrive?
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 12:03PM
The problem with Family Guy now is is that it uses shock humor to be funny, plus it has way to many of those, "remember that time...", segments. I think American Dad is much funnier.
blk_ballard @ Aug 30th 2007 12:17PM
First of all watch the language! Secondly, why does everyone hate this show? It's hilarious, maybe not as god as the first two seasons, but it's still funnier than most other comedies out there. Now I could see this bashing with American Dad, but not Family Guy.
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 12:40PM
American Dad is much better. Remember folks love to over exaggerate their claims of hatred for something problem. My problem with the current season of Family Guy is that it lost what made Family guy great in the first place.
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 12:41PM
I meant popular not problem.
Obie @ Aug 30th 2007 12:11PM
I dunno Youtube is practically bursting with free Family Guy clips, and knowing the nature of the show, clips can be better than entire episodes.
Joe @ Aug 30th 2007 12:42PM
Family Guy is god-awful nowadays. The older stuff is fairly funny, but I'm still not buying any of these.
For my adult humor, I watch Wondershowzen and Frisky Dingo.
Ska Oreo @ Aug 30th 2007 12:53PM
OH man Fisky Dingo is hilarious this season!!!!
Ballocaust!!!!
And my favorite quote in the episode.
"So....Want so grape soda?"
fffunfarm06---xbl @ Aug 30th 2007 12:43PM
family guy is a badass show guys! i have every episode and i never get tired of it. i mean south park is cool to but south park uses current events to tell the story, while family guy uses flashbacks and old stuff from back in the day that i remember to drive the comedy.
and stewie is always mixing it up. :)
giggity giggity, giggity goo.

Colin @ Aug 30th 2007 1:01PM
This is freekin sweet! I hope they add the later seasons soon, because I already have seasons 1 & 2 and the movie on DVD! ...strange they pick exactly what I already have, and nothing more...
Damn you 20GB hard drive!!
borntokill @ Aug 30th 2007 4:08PM
They give it 10-15 times a week, and you can watch all the eps. on quicksilverscreen.com, so what genius is going to pay like 3.50 an episode. rippity rip rip
