You know, one of the best things about Etrian Odyssey was that they didn't have the same freaking classes. Would it really kill devs to come up with something at least semi-original?
Of course dev shops have to deal with rapid turnaround times for these games, and they can't do everything. But still...

Classes are less important than the actual story itself. And in this case of this game, also less important than say, I dunno, gameplay videos. Some of us are on pins and needles for this game.

What's with the sudden bitterness toward the ASH? Those classes are the norm for many RPGs :(

These new updates just keep outdoing themselves. Although some might not like the slow drip of information, this is THE way to get people excited about an upcoming game. At the same time, I'm sure everyone has unrealistically high expectations for the game now. I know I do. Oh well.

Oh, it's not bitterness -- it was just rather funny that anyone felt the need to explain what a black mage was... when it's pretty much standard for black mages. And "stealers" is just hilarious.

I'm all over ASH, but things like this are always funny, at least to me!
