The GameSpy Debriefings: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning's Creative Director Paul Barnett has just been promoted to one of our favorite people. This interview with him is priceless. For instance, we wish we could get his spiel about why video games are like shampoo tattooed on our arm. Also, his way of setting MMOs apart as hobbies rather than games is a real eye-opener. If you listen to one podcast this week, make it the Joystiq Podcast. If you listen to two, it must be this. Also ... BioShock is discussed.
PC Gamer Podcast: We often will feature podcasts when they're having handicapped episode. Maybe half the team is absent, maybe they're pressed for time, but we find that a mixed-up show can often just ooze freshness. This week's PC Gamer Podcast, with a crew of "second-stringers" is a lot of fun, especially their conversation about the death of the internet. Also ... BioShock is discussed.
Major Nelson: This isn't so much a show as it is the full audio of the Major's panel from PAX about blogging and podcasts. We think the real star of the cast is media gadfly, bon vivant and Joystiq boss Christopher Grant. It's a special kind of person who wants to hear about the blog sausage being made. If you are that person, click away.
G.A.M.E.Radio: We weren't super familiar with this podcast, but now it's in our regular rotation. We're fans of brutal frankness, and they've got it to spare. They're one of the few crews that we've heard actually call out Odin Sphere, and that's just the tip of the honesty spear. You can call them jaded, we'll call them a lot of fun to listen to. Also ... BioShock is discussed.
PlayStation Fancast 010: Fresh from his guest spot on the Joystiq Podcast, Jem Alexander and the rest of the PS3 and PSP fanboys are chatting up James Stevenson and Ryan Schneider from Insomniac Games on this new episode. If you can get past their scary opening music, you'll want to hear the great interview, especially the part about overzealous fans. BioShock? Conspicuously absent.
That's it for this week, friends. Also, please, let us know about your favorite podcast, we're running a little dry now. Also, we love you.

Life is like a box of shoes. You'll always know what you'll get.
You can always tell a man by what chocolates he's wearing.
Well, to be honest I couldn't stand the all-Bioshock webcomic roundup, but I loved PA's rendition of Chris Hansen's To Catch a Predator.

We actually hate Bioshock and have had to recently ban talk of the game because everyone seems to enjoy it but we don't (and fighting with listeners seems crazy).

You always get the best pics for these podcast rodeos, though
