If you're wanting to enjoy Lair's gorgeous visuals on an itty-bitty screen (or more likely, you're just wanting to play the game with an analog stick instead of the much-maligned motion controls), it has been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 title supports remote play via the PSP, with credit going to Dubbedinenglish of the PlayStation forums for first making the discovery.
The "full" game is playable in this manner, although some actions can't be performed on the PSP's control scheme, making some parts of the dragon romp impassable. Video proof embedded after the break.
I'm pretty sure Fernando will come to this thread and will tell us how great Nintendo Wii is and will tell us for like 100 time that Metroid is a AAA title.
Really this is freaking useless, why in the hell you would want to play Lair in the PSP having the PS3 near?,I mean if the PSP controls were better but it doensn't have the R2,L2 buttons.
Also it only works having a Ps3 near so as I said, you have the PS3 near.
PSP to Ps3 I understand but Ps3 to PSP?,What for?.
Remote play allows you to play games on your ps3 via a psp through wi-fi....you don't have to be near it, you could be at work or anywhere provided you have wi-fi internet access.
“I’m sure in some planet your strategy is considered powerful but your weakling is, this is Earth”.
Basically to play lair you need a Wi-fi connection and your Ps3 at home must be turned on I guess.
Ok some questions: In order to play lair in the Ps3 someone must be in the house because Who is going to be so stupid to leave their house on a vacation and leave the Ps3 turn on?, now If someone wants to play lair in the same PS3 what? ,Do they need to take you out of the game or both persons can play Lair at the same time in different levels?.
That's a really, really cool feature. I don't have a PSP or PS3, but anyone who denies that it's nifty is a monster of epic proportions. Now all they need to do is use this feature for games that aren't getting critically panned and we'll be good to go~
Funny how this "Sony Platform" of Night Elve's actually ran operating system made by Microsoft.
...not to mention that it was a standard - like several people have already pointed out, and Sony wasn't particularly big player in it. But hey, this is the Internet, who needs facts. :)
I wasn't saying it's gonna fail even if it sounded like it. MGS is an established franchise, one that I've loved since I demoed MGS on PS1. MGS4, at least to me, is looking a bit weird with the flying metal cows, but when has MGS not been over the top? It might be worth it for me to get a PS3, just because I love MGS so much, but 600$ might not be worth it.
wow now i can play a bad game on a platform that doesn't have the capability for me to complete the game which i wouldn't have wanted to finish in the first place because it's so terrible.
Nintendo Fanboys sound like Luddites everytime something cool comes out thats not on a nintendo system.
I hope you guys have fun slowing the advancement of the games industry and possibly setting another crash in motion. Maybe when thats over you'll go away.
There's only one explanation for this... they're Nintendo fanboys! I mean, only Nintendo fanboys would be able to hate on such a GREAT title like Lair.
